MW3 and Warzone players have endlessly discussed the difference between input devices, such as console controllers and PC’s mouse and keyboard. With Season 2, Call of Duty decided to address this by introducing substantial M&K accuracy improvements.

The ongoing discussion about input devices in Call of Duty has been relentless, with PC players claiming that consoles benefit from advantages, like aim assist, which allows them to easily dominate MW3 and Warzone.

Despite having the best settings for mouse and keyboard, as well as controller, many still believe that some modifications are needed to even out the difference in device input for both titles.

Luckily, with Season 2, Call of Duty are finally addressing this by introducing several improvements to the M&K input.

Season 2 brings mouse adjustments to MW3 and Warzone

Call of Duty have shared that Season 2 will bring “substantial adjustments to core attributes” in MW3 multiplayer and Warzone improving the “precision and responsiveness of aiming, particularly while using a mouse.”

According to the patch notes, the ADS idle sway “discourages players from holding their sights for an extended period of time,” given the “constant subtle motion that introduces slight inaccuracy.”

Season 2 brings the first-ever Ranked mode to Warzone Resurgence.

Call of Duty updated how this works making it start “shortly after aiming down sight, rather than immediately, introducing a delay to the sway curve that is generally 5ms long.”
