Several new weapons are making their way to Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone during Season 2. To find out what’s coming, here’s every new weapon in Warzone and MW3 Season 2.
Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone Season 2 marks the start of a new chapter for the Call of Duty titles. As usual, a new season means new maps, modes, and above all else, new weapons to explore.
The current weapon roster is already packed full of powerful options to choose from, and MW3 Season 2 is set to expand on it further. Have a look at all of the new weapons coming to Warzone and Modern Warfare 3 Season 2.
Modern Warfare 3 & Warzone Season 2: Every new weapon
Four new weapons are making their way to MW3 and Warzone during Season 2. The first two will arrive with the Season 2 update on February 7, while the following two will likely debut with the mid-season update.
Check out every new weapon coming to MW3 and Warzone Season 2 down below.
BP50 Assault Rifle
The BP50 will look to excel during medium-range engagements.
MW3 and Warzone players will be able to find the BP50 Assault Rifle in Sector B7 of the Season 2 Battle Pass. It seems like the BP50 will be a weapon that favors players who prefer agility and a high rate of fire. For this reason, the BP50 AR could turn out to be an excellent Sniper support weapon in Warzone.
RAM-9 SMG
The RAM-9 SMG is making its way to MW3 and Warzone at the start of Season 2, and you can find it in the Battle Pass Sector B6. The weapon is featured in the image at the very top of this article.
Season 1 brought the RAM-7 to the games and now Season 2 is set to introduce its SMG alternative. You may have guessed it already, but the RAM-9 is set to be a more mobile version of the RAM-7, with all the same lethality.
SOA Subverter Battle Rifle
The SOA Subverter’s predictable recoil will make it easy to control.
MW3 and Warzone’s new SOA Subverter Battle Rifle will make its way to both titles sometime during Season 2 via a Weekly Challenge. This new weapon has a low fire rate, but it’s expected to be a laser beam thanks to its “predictable recoil.”
Based on its description, it could make an impact on the long-range meta in Warzone, but we’ll have to wait and see if that turns out to be the case. The SOA Subverter is also said to have “best-in-class sprint-to-fire and movement speeds,” which is a unique attribute for a long-range weapon.
Soulrender Melee weapon
The Soulrender will be a deadly weapon in close quarters.
MW3 and Warzone Season 2’s Soulrender Melee weapon is set to arrive in-season, according to the Call of Duty roadmap blog. At the moment, the blog has the Soulrender’s unlock method listed as REDACTED, but we’ll keep you posted once we find out how to unlock the new weapon.
Interestingly enough, the Soulrender will require the mastery of timing to produce the best results: “use your Aim button while holding “Fire” enables a guard stance. Release the guard for an instant slice.”
From the looks of it, the Soulrender will prove to be as unique of a Melee weapon we’ve seen in MW3 so far.
