Warzone Season 4 Reloaded: Release date, Redacted weapons, leaked Fallout crossover, more

Warzone’s Season 4 Reloaded update aims to expand upon the content introduced at the beginning of the season. Here’s everything we know so far about this mid-season update, including its release date.

Warzone Season 4 was a major update, bringing back the iconic Kar98k and Obsidian camo, along with a new Rewards system offering exclusive cosmetics. However, with the mid-season update just around the corner, developers have even more in store.

Here’s everything you need to know about Warzone Season 4 Reloaded, including the release date and content.

Warzone Season 4 Reloaded release date

Warzone’s Season 4 Reloaded update will be released on Wednesday, June 26, 2024. This was confirmed by the Season 4 Battle Pass, which features a Classified Sector that unlocks on this date.

Similar to previous seasons, the Classified Sector usually marks the mid-season update launch. However, the devs might either delay or bring forward the update, so we’ll keep you updated if any information is revealed.

Warzone Season 4 Reloaded new weapons

Warzone’s Season 4 Reloaded will bring two new weapons to the roster, including the Reclaimer 18 Shotgun, also known as the fan-favorite SPAS-12 in other CoD titles, along with the hard-hitting Sledgehammer Melee.

MW3 Warzone Season 4 Sledgehammer

The Sledgehammer will be part of the Season 4 Reloaded roster.

Warzone Season 4 Reloaded modes, events & POI changes

As with every mid-season update, Season 4 Reloaded will carry new modes, events, and point of interest (POI) changes.

Expected Black Ops 6 reveal mode

While the dev team didn’t reveal any details regarding the Season 4 Reloaded modes, with Black Ops 6’s deep dive reveal on June 9 during the BO6 Direct event, leakers shared that the game is expected to receive an event within Warzone, following previous CoD titles such as MW3’s Shadow Siege.

Runaway Train public event

The mid-season update will bring a new public event that can tweak the ending of matches, making players survive on a runaway train.

If this public event occurs, players will be warned “sometime around the sixth gas circle.” Taking inspiration from the Slay Ride Resurgence mode, the gas zone will close on Urzikstan’s moving train until the end of the match, where players must survive to take the victory.

Once the public event is announced, the train will be a chaotic POI to survive.

POI changes

As revealed within the roadmap, Season 4 Reloaded will carry a point of interest update. While no information was revealed in the S4 blog, the image included hints the location could be the Popov Power POI in Urzikstan.

Given the image effects, it’s unclear which changes the location will receive, but it’s expected this could be linked to the BO6 reveal or MW3’s storyline, following what happened with previous CoD titles.

Redacted weapons in Warzone Season 4 Reloaded

Not entirely new for players who accessed the Biometrics Scanners in Rebirth Island, Redacted weapons are set to arrive with Season 4 Reloaded. However, unlike with scanners, players will be able to access this “impressive and rare weaponry” within hot loot zones, Bunkers, or as ground loot.

The Redacted weapons will feature “up to 10 attachments” and their rarity will be red, so you can differentiate when you’re encountering one of these “powerful weapons.”

Warzone Season 4 Reloaded crossovers

Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone Season 4 roadmap

A new “top secret collab” is arriving with Season 4’s mid-season update.

As shown in the roadmap (right bottom corner), the Season 4 Reloaded update will a new crossover. While it hasn’t been officially confirmed, the image appears to be related to the leaked Fallout collab, including a fully-themed bundle for the popular Task Force 141 Operators, including Price, Soap, Gaz, and Ghost.

Once new information regarding the crossovers for Season 4 Reloaded is officially announced, we’ll be sure to update this section.

In the meantime, be sure you’re geared up to dominate Season 4 with the best weaponscontroller settingsaudio setup, and FOV settings.
