Warzone Season 1 Reloaded is underway, introducing two weapons, several buffs and nerfs, as well as the return of the Champion’s Quest contract. The update introduced fresh options like the HRM-9 SMG SMG and TAQ Evolvere LMG, widening the game’s gun roster.
Significant updates like Season 1 Reloaded, typically lead to changes in the top ten most popular weapons in Warzone. So, let’s take a look at the current rankings.
Most popular guns in Warzone
The most popular guns in Warzone are usually very powerful, with easy-to-control recoil that makes them user-friendly. Based on the data from WZRanked, we have assembled a list of the ten most popular weapons in Warzone Season 1 Reloaded as of January 2024:
10. SVA 545 – 1.6%
The SVA 545 makes its first appearance in the most popular weapons list.
Another first-appearing weapon within the top ten most popular weapons, the SVA 545 has managed to secure the tenth spot with a 1.6% pick rate, thanks to its ease of use and excellent mobility. With the right attachments, this AR can be transformed into a powerful choice in the battle royale.
9. Holger 556 – 1.8%
The TAQ Eradicator was the first post-launch weapon in Warzone.
As you may noticed, most of the weapons featured in the list are Assault Rifles that are easy to handle, with little recoil and great damage, and the Holger 556 is no exception. With a 1.8% pick rate, this gun secures ninth place among the most popular guns in the battle royale.
8. Pulemyot 762 – 2.6% – Most popular LMG in Warzone
The Pulemyot 762 has great damage and a huge magazine capacity.
The Pulemyot 762 is the most popular LMG in the game since its integration with MW3. This gun’s low recoil and large magazine capacity granted it a 2.6% pick rate.
This LMG is perfect for long-range battles, but it also performs well at medium-range, making it a great choice for Urzikstan, Vondel, and Ashika Island.
7. BAS-B – 2.6% – Most popular Battle Rifle in Warzone
The BAS-B still remains one of Warzone’s most popular weapons.
Despite being ranked higher, thanks to its reliable damage and mid to long-range performance, the BAS-B remains within the top 10 most popular guns with a 2.6% pick rate.
This Battle Rifle is a solid pick when it comes to powerful weapon options in Warzone, as it’s extremely reliable and can put enemies down in a heartbeat with a fast fire rate, easy-to-control recoil, and great mobility.
6. KATT-AMR – 4.5% — Most popular Sniper in Warzone
The KATT-AMR has quickly become the most popular Sniper within Warzone Season 1 Reloaded.
Season 1’s KATT-AMR has taken over the Sniper meta given its one-shot capability. Despite its nerf in the Season 1 Reloaded update, this Sniper still boasts exceptional damage, gathering a 4.5% pick rate, making it the sixth most popular weapon in the game.
The KATT-AMR is a hard-hitting, long-range Sniper perfect for those ranged lines of sight. It can be paired with a close-range weapon like an SMG for a versatile loadout that can handle any situation.
5. WSP Swarm – 5.2%
The WSP Swarm has the best TTK in the game boasting outstanding damage and fire rate.
Previously the most popular weapon within the game, the WSP Swarm has suffered a major nerf in the January 19 update which drags it to the fifth position in the list with a 5.2% pick rate.
However, the gun is still considered a great choice for close-quarter combat thanks to its little to no recoil, which secured its place at the top.
4. RAM-7 – 7.2%
The RAM-7 returned to Warzone in Season 1 since MW 2019.
As for Assault Rifles, the beloved RAM-7 is back among the most popular weapons, with a 7.2% pick rate. After its triumphant passage through MW 2019, this AR is dominating mid to long-range fights.
It’s one of the strongest weapons in the game at the moment, but it may not last long as the devs will likely look to nerf it soon.
3. HRM-9 – 8.2%
The HRM-9 is one of the new Season 1 Reloaded weapons.
Following the WSP Swarm nerfs, the Season 1 Reloaded’s HRM-9 has quickly taken over the close-range meta given its blistering fire rate, damage, and its Optic resembling the iconic Grau from MW 2019.
This powerful SMG’s pick rate, currently at 8.2%, is poised to increase further due to its exceptional mobility and TTK, which sets it apart from its counterparts.
2. MCW – 24.4% – Most popular Assault Rifle in Warzone
MW3’s MCW managed to secure second place among the most popular weapons in Season 1 Reloaded.
The classic ACR, known as the MCW in MW3, has managed to claim the second position within the most popular picks in Warzone with a 24.4% pick rate, given its low recoil and user-friendly characteristics.
If you’re seeking a dependable and adaptable weapon known for its accuracy and ease of handling, the MCW is the ideal choice. Despite not being so powerful, several nerfs to its counterparts led this reliable AR to be selected for engagements both at close and mid-range.
1. AMR9 – 26.10% – Most popular weapon in Warzone
The AMR9 has become Warzone’s most popular weapon following a major buff.
With a 26.10% pick rate, the AMR9 is the most popular weapon in Season 1 Reloaded of Warzone. Despite not being a popular pick since the game’s integration with MW3, after the substantial buffs it received in all its damage profiles with the Season 1 Reloaded update, the weapon has managed to steal the position from the WSP Swarm who was previously the undisputed holder of the title.
