In the past, the very best Warzone players could win a match early by calling in a Nuke, but is that possible on Urzikstan? Here’s everything you need to know about the Champions Quest in Warzone Season 1.
Winning a Warzone match is no easy feat, as there are plenty of different factors to take into account. Securing the victory requires the ideal landing spot, the best weapons, and, often, a fair amount of luck and a few near-misses.
However, some players still like to ramp up the challenge and put their skills to the test, and the previous version of Warzone offered the Champion’s Quest. Only the best managed to pull it off and earn the Nuke that ended a match early and secured an instant win.
But can you get a Nuke on Warzone Urzikstan? Here’s everything you need to know.
Is there a Champion’s Quest in Warzone Season 1?
No, there is no way to call in a Nuke in Warzone at the time of writing. The game integrated with Modern Warfare 3 during Season 1 and the Champion’s Quest didn’t make its way to the new version of the battle royale on Urzikstan.
However, the devs have confirmed that a new Champion’s Quest will be added in the Warzone Season 1 Reloaded update, meaning players will once again be able to call in a Nuke. They shared the first details in the midseason update blog post and gave a first look at what the new Nuke skin reward will look like.
Players who manage to earn a Nuke will earn a unique skin.
Full details of how the new Warzone Champion’s Quest will work haven’t been revealed, but it looks set to be slightly easier than the Al Mazrah version.
Previously, a Nuke was earned by winning five matches in a row, before completing a number of tasks to assemble and detonate the bomb. This time, the Champion’s Quest becomes available once players “win 30 games total within a season OR five consecutive matches.”
The Urzikstan version also comes with an extra layer of tension as another team will be able to “steal” the Champion’s Quest by eliminating the team who unlocked it.
That was everything we know about getting a Nuke in Warzone after the Urzikstan update. We’ll be sure to update this page with how to complete the Champion’s Quest as soon as full details are released.
