The Warzone Season 1 update introduced a significant overhaul to Call of Duty’s free-to-play battle royale. This includes the new Urzikstan map, an overhauled Perk system, and every weapon from MW3 as part of the integration.
However, the devs have announced a ton of fresh content coming into the game with the mid-season update. Here’s everything you need to know about Warzone Season 1 Reloaded.
Warzone Season 1 Reloaded release date
Warzone Season 1 Reloaded will be released on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET / 5 PM GMT. Additionally, the Season 1 Battle Pass includes a Classified sector set to launch simultaneously.

Warzone’s Season 1 Reloaded will bring a ton of updates and new content.
The Warzone Season 1 Reloaded update is set to bring the new Covert Exfil system. Little has been revealed about the feature, other than it will be a “new secondary exfil condition.”
This system will allow players to escape the match early through a helicopter. However, only five are available to purchase per match “for a high price in Buy Stations before the Gulag closes.”
Warzone Gulag NVG public event
Warzone Season 1 Reloaded brings a fresh event to the Gulag, where players will have to face an “epic night-vision skirmish” by seeing through NVG and surviving the already dangerous and tense 1v1 Gulag.
Weapon Cases in Warzone Season 1 Reloaded
Weapon Cases are also arriving in Urzikstan with Warzone Season 1 Reloaded. When found, the player holding it will be marked for all enemies, and if they manage to remain alive at the match’s end or their squad escapes using a Covert Exfil, the whole team will “earn exclusive rewards.”

The Champion’s Quest retruns to Warzone in Season 1 Reloaded.
The Champion’s Quest was one of the toughest but rewarding challenges on Al Mazrah and it’s set to return in Warzone Season 1 Reloaded. Players will once again be able to earn a Nuke within the game earning exclusive rewards.
The Season 1 Reloaded blog only revealed the first step, which will be “Win 30 games total within a season OR five consecutive matches.” Once you complete either of these steps, the following steps “will fall into place.”
Keep in mind that this time around, players will be able to “steal” the contract from another team, adding an extra layer of tension.
