MW3 Season 4 Reloaded: Release date, new weapons, maps, more

The MW3 Season 4 Reloaded update is set to double down on all the content that arrived at the start of the season, with more new maps and weapons. Here’s everything we know about the mid-season update so far, including when it will arrive.

Modern Warfare 3 Season 4 was a huge update for multiplayer fans, marking the return of the iconic Kar98k that dominated matches ever since and the DNA Bomb Killstreak. But, there’s plenty more still to come, as the mid-season update is fast approaching.

So, here’s everything you need to know about MW3 Season 4 Reloaded, including the release date.

MW3 Season 4 Reloaded release date

The Modern Warfare 3 Season 4 Reloaded arrives on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, as confirmed by the Season 4 Battle Pass. This season’s BP features a Classified Sector that unlocks on this date, and that has always spelled out the arrival of the mid-season patch historically.

Of course, there is every chance that the devs could delay the update or bring it forward, so we’ll keep this section updated with the latest details.

New weapons in MW3 Season 4 Reloaded

MW3 Warzone Season 4 Reclaimer 18

The Reclaimer 18 is based on the iconic SPAS-12.

There are two new weapons due to arrive in MW3 Season 4 Reloaded – the Sledgehammer melee weapon and Reclaimer 18 Shotgun, which fans will remember as the SPAS-12 from MW2 (2009). These were both confirmed in a blog post at the end of Season 3.

At least one of these, likely the Reclaimer 18, will be available through the Classified Sector. Meanwhile, the other is expected to be one of the smaller rewards in that Sector or a Weekly Challenge reward.

MW3 Season 4 Reloaded brings new maps

On top of the new weapons, MW3 Season 4 Reloaded also introduced two new maps. The first is Incline, “a mid-sized snow map” set in the mountains of Urzikstan, which the devs say is perfect for mid-range Assault Rifles or SMGs if you venture into the main transport facility.

The second is Das Gross, a reskin of the popular Das Haus that coats the map in “revolting preternatural tendrils and flapping tentacles.” It’s set to be added into the Vortex pool, as well as the regular map rotation as one of the possible variants.

Iconic mode returns in MW3 Season 4 Reloaded

After first appearing all the way back in CoD 4, the Headshots Only mode makes its comeback in Season 4 Reloaded of MW3. As the name suggests, the game mode plays like a regular Team Deathmatch, but only headshots can cause damage to an enemy.

It hasn’t been revealed which arenas the playlist will take place on, but the Season 4 blog confirmed it will only be a “small moshpit of maps.”

That was everything we know about MW3 Season 4 Reloaded so far. We expect more details to be announced in the lead-up the launch, so we’ll update this page with all the latest news as it drops.

In the meantime, make sure you’re dominating Season 4 with the best guns, controller settings, audio setup, and FOV settings.
