CoD Next 2024: How to watch Black Ops 6 multiplayer reveal

Fans got their first look at Black Ops 6 gameplay at the Xbox Showcase, but an even bigger multiplayer deep dive is coming at Call of Duty Next 2024. So, here’s how to watch CoD Next, including the date and what we’re expecting to see at the event.

Black Ops 6 officially arrives on October 25, bringing with it a fresh single-player campaign and new multiplayer complete with overhauled movement. After fans got their first real look at the Xbox Game Showcase, the next deep dive is scheduled for Call of Duty Next 2024.

Here’s when CoD Next takes place this year, as well as how you can watch the event.

CoD Next Black Ops 6 multiplayer reveal date

Call of Duty Next is scheduled for Wednesday, August 28, 2024, but the official start time is yet to be announced. We don’t know how long the event will run for, but it is likely to be significantly longer than the BO6 Direct that took place after the Xbox Game Showcase, which was only around 25 minutes.

What to expect at CoD Next 2024

Call of Duty Next 2024 is set to be the first real in-depth look at Black Ops 6 multiplayer, where fans will be able to see the new maps, weapons, and features like omnimovement in action. While we’ve already had a glimpse, this will be where Treyarch show off MP in more detail, complete with new trailers and gameplay.

Although it hasn’t been officially confirmed, this will also likely be where we get more details on the next chapter of Warzone. The battle royale always integrates with the latest multiplayer release, so expect Raven Software to explain how BO6 will influence the game going forward.

We already know that Warzone will feature weapons and skins from MW2 and MW3, alongside Black Ops 6, as well as the new omnidirectional movement features. But, fans can look forward to hearing about any new features that are exclusive to Warzone, including what the map will be for this new era.

According to leaks, the iconic Verdansk is set to replace Urzikstan as the main BR map, making its return for the first time since Caldera arrived with Vanguard. If this turns out to be true, CoD Next will offer fans a look at the returning map and how it’s been updated to work with the new features added in recent years.

On top of all this, the event will also show off even more of Black Ops 6 Zombies and all of the new additions coming to the mode. The devs have already confirmed that this year’s version will be round-based, so fans will be eager to hear what else they have in store.

That was everything you need to know about the Black Ops 6 multiplayer reveal at Call of Duty Next. A schedule of what will be covered at the event will likely drop closer to the time, so we’ll be sure to keep this page updated.

While you wait for more details at CoD Next, make sure you’re up to speed on whether your skins will carry over to BO6 from MW3 and how you can play the beta early by pre-ordering a copy of the game.
