Following the MW3 and Warzone Season 4 update, dataminers revealed the Black Ops 6 editions and pre-order bonuses. Here’s everything we know so far.
Black Ops 6 is confirmed as Call of Duty’s 2024 title, co-developed by Treyarch and Raven Software. The game is set to receive a full reveal featuring a “special deep dive” after the Xbox Games Showcase on June 9.
Prior to this event, dataminers found the editions and pre-order bonuses for BO6 in MW3 and Warzone’s Season 4 files. This allowed players to get a sneak peek at some of the bonuses, including a fan-favorite Operator, weapon blueprints, and more Black Ops-themed content.
Leaked Black Ops 6 editions
Dataminer Earthbound_Fan shared several images on X of both the leaked logo and content for the Black Ops 6 editions. According to the leaked images, BO6 could feature a Standard, Cross-Gen, and Vault Edition.
Within the Vault Edition image, players will notice a few beloved characters from the Black Ops saga, including Black Ops Zombies Klaus and Brutus (Warden), along with two Operators that look like Park and Adler from the latest Black Ops installment.
Also, the game files revealed the expected weapon blueprints included in the BO6 Vault Edition, which you can see below. The Black Ops 6 Vault Edition could also include GobbleGums and the game’s premium BlackCell Battle Pass, according to the leaks.
While there’s no official confirmation about which weapons will make their way to BO6, the Sniper in the leaked image below resembles the Locus from Black Ops 3, and the SMG to BO4’s Saug 9mm.
Leaked Black Ops 6 pre-order bonuses
The leaked content from MW3 and Warzone’s Season 4 files also revealed several pre-order bonuses for Black Ops 6. If BO6 follows the previous CoD releases, these bonuses should be available for all players who pre-order the game before its launch.
The dataminers found out that Frank Woods is reportedly returning as the in-game pre-order bonus Operator featuring a Classic, Zombie, and Numbers variant for players to use in MW3 and Warzone after pre-ordering the game.
In 2020, Woods was also added as a content bonus for pre-ordering Black Ops Cold War, the latest BO title in the franchise. This allowed players to use the iconic character in MW 2019 and Warzone matches.
We’ll be sure to update this article once pre-orders go live or if the editions for Black Ops 6 are officially confirmed. Meanwhile, be sure to check out everything we know about the fan-favorite Zombies mode returning in BO6, or all the details regarding BO6’s arrival on Xbox Game Pass.
