After a strong start, Warzone Season 3 is set to continue with the Reloaded update, bringing even more new weapons and features to the game. Here’s everything we know about the Warzone Season 3 Reloaded update so far, including the release date.

Warzone Season 3 was one of the biggest patches to hit the battle royale to date, bringing the return of Rebirth Island along with new features like the Squad Rage Field Upgrade and the Biometric Scanners. But the devs are set to double down with even more additions in the mid-season update.

Here’s everything we know about Warzone Season 3 Reloaded so far, including the release date and new weapons on offer.

Warzone Season 3 Reloaded release date

Warzone Season 3 Reloaded is due to arrive on Wednesday, May 1, 2024. This was revealed by the Classified Sector of the Season 3 Battle Pass, which always tends to unlock with the mid-season update, which currently has a countdown due to end on this date.

Of course, the devs could easily delay the patch or move it forward between now and then, so we’ll be sure to update this section with any changes.

BAL-27 Assault Rifle arrives in Warzone Season 3 Reloaded

Hot on the heels of the MORS Sniper, Warzone Season 3 Reloaded brings fellow Advanced Warfare weapon – the BAL-27. The fan-favorite Assault Rifle was one of the most overpowered guns back when AW launched in 2014, so players will be delighted to see it return.

The devs have already warned that it “shreds” at close range and its unique fire rate that increases the longer you squeeze the trigger should make it an interesting option in battle royale matches.

Warzone Season 3 Reloaded new game modes

Resurgence Loaded and Rebirth Lockdown are the two new game modes in Warzone Season 3 Reloaded. Both take place on the recently returned Rebirth Island map and come with unique spins on the traditional Resurgence formula.

Warzone Rebirth Island

Rebirth Island gets two new modes in Season 3 Reloaded.

Loaded does away with ground loot and lets players drop in with their loadouts already equipped, skipping that initial scramble and getting straight to the action. Meanwhile, Rebirth Lockdown brings popular Vondel mode to Rebirth Island, tasking squads with securing various control points around the map.

Warzone Season 3 Reloaded Heavy Armor Public Event

The Warzone Season 3 Reloaded update also brings a brand-new Public Event titled Heavy Armor. Only available on Rebirth Island, this event raises the maximum armor plates each player can equip from three to four.

This increases each player’s max armor from 150 to 200, with each plate offering 50 HP of protection. Heavy Armor lasts for the duration of the match, so players will have to adjust their approach to make up for the slower TTK.

Warzone Season 3 Reloaded new Field Upgrade

The Utility Box arrives with the Warzone Season 3 mid-season update, a new Field Upgrade that combines the benefits of ammo and armor boxes. Setting one of these down refills all teammates to maximum armor, as well as restocking everyone’s ammo, Lethals, and Tacticals.

It will be available as “rare” ground loot, or for purchase from Buy Stations found around the map.

That was everything we know about Warzone Season 3 Reloaded so far. We’ll be updating this page with any future announcements, so check back here for the latest details.
