Warzone’s Perk overhaul granted players new possibilities thanks to the most popular picks being activated by default. However, many noticed that a useful Perk that could solve the game’s audio issues is completely “broken.”
Although the launch of Warzone‘s Season 1 Reloaded update had its issues, players are now enjoying all the content the game has to offer. This includes the return of the Nuke contract and fresh weaponry like the HRM-9 SMG and TAQ Evolvere LMG.
To survive within Urzikstan, mastering certain key aspects can provide a strategic edge against enemies. In Warzone, having optimal audio settings is crucial for maintaining awareness of your surroundings.
One Warzone Perk in particular could offer players a way to solve one of the game’s worst problems since its first iteration. Unfortunately, Reddit user ‘Underscorealphax’ has discovered that the Perk’s potential is overshadowed by its “broken” state.
“Flex Perk is absolutely not working for footsteps,” shared the OP and followed with, “Every single game I’ve played… Kill cam shows them in a full sprint and I didn’t even hear a single footstep audio with the Flex perk.”
Among several benefits, Warzone‘s Flex Perk is supposed to “reduce combat noise” to facilitate hearing enemy footsteps. However, with the game’s major problem relating to audio, players claim Flex seems to be “inconsistent,” not helping on some occasions and completely diminishing sounds on others.
In the comments, a user expressed, “It definitely makes footsteps much clearer and allows you to hear them from further away. But I agree that there are still scenarios where you just straight up can’t hear them for some reason.”
Despite Raven Software announcing to players that additional audio adjustments are in the works, it remains uncertain whether a solution for Flex is included in these upcoming plans.
