Activision officially revealed Warzone Mobile along with a ton of details about the game. But what about the system requirements? Here’s all you need to about Warzone Mobile Android and iOS requirements, including file size and minimum specs.
On February 28, Activision finally confirmed Warzone Mobile will be released on March 21. After the massive success of both Warzone and CoD Mobile, it was only a matter of time before the publisher brought the popular battle royale to mobile devices.
Despite sharing weapons, Operators, and progression with MW3 and Warzone, Warzone Mobile brings a ton of content for fans to enjoy, including the original Verdansk and Rebirth Island maps.
After much anticipation, Activision not only reveal the official release date but also shared the system requirements and file size for Android and iOS devices.
Check out the system requirements you’ll need to play Warzone Mobile on iOS or Android devices.
Warzone Mobile minimum system requirements for Android & iOS
- Apple: iPad or iPhone iOS 16 or better
- Memory: 3GB RAM or more
- Android: Adreno 618 GPU or better
- Memory: 6GB RAM or more
Call of Duty players looking to play Warzone Mobile will need to have at least an iPhone or iPad iOS 16 with 3GB RAM or more or an Adreno 618 GPU with 6GB RAM or more in their Android phone.
Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile will be released globally on March 21, 2024.
On December 7, 2023, the devs confirmed that “if your device doesn’t fit the specs, don’t worry! We’ll be looking to optimize for a wider range of users in the future.”
So, it’s expected these requirements will change ahead of the game’s full release on March 21, 2024, where the devs will provide much more detailed requirements such as the minimum and recommended specs.
Warzone Mobile file size
According to Android and Apple’s stores, Warzone Mobile will require at least 4GB of free space to download the game. However, WZM limited-release players have shared that the game could take up to 8GB on the devices to function correctly.
It remains to be seen if, before the release of the game, devs share additional details about the file size. Luckily, most compatible devices should have plenty of space to allow the game to function as expected.
