Call of Duty have confirmed MW3 and Warzone are set to receive a Warhammer 40k crossover including several popular character skins, and more. Here’s all we know about MW3 and Warzone’s collaboration with Warhammer 40k.
Call of Duty players have received various collaborations including a The Boys crossover, as well as the popular TV series The Walking Dead.
On March 1, Call of Duty confirmed a new crossover will hit MW3 and Warzone featuring the popular Warhammer 40k franchise. So, here’s everything we know so far, including all the leaks.
MW3 & Warzone x Warhammer Operator skins
Call of Duty revealed via an X post that players will be getting Warhammer 40k skins for MW3 and Warzone. According to the post, the crossover between both games will include “Space Marines, Sisters of Battle, Astra Militarum skins and more.”
Despite few details being revealed regarding the release date or a peek at these skins, several leakers have previously shared a look at the skins and content that the Warhammer 40k crossover will include.
Space Marines
As stated by Call of Duty, some of the Operator skins are inspired by the Space Marines characters from the video game of the same name. These warrior-monks wear mechanized suits of armor and possess genetically enhanced features.
Additionally, after the Season 2 update, dataminers discovered what the two Warhammer 40k Marines Soldiers could look like in MW3 and Warzone:
Sisters of Battle
Another skin mentioned on Call of Duty’s post is Sisters of Battle, also known as Adepta Soritas, which despite not having leaked teaser of them in-game, dataminers did find a loading screen of “The Dark Angels at the Battle of Piscina IV” art. The image shows sister Helewise kneeling, with allies behind her.
Astra Militarum
The last skins mentioned in Call of Duty’s X post are Warhammer 40k’s Astra Militarum, which is the most important united combat entity in the galaxy and functions as the foremost military power of the Imperium of Man.
MW3 & Warzone x Warhammer 40k leaked weapons
Words like “buzzsaw” and “sword” were also found in MW3 and Warzone’s game files, which the dataminers speculated could be the iconic Eviscerator weapon used by Space Marine officers in Warhammer 40k.
Leaked MW3 & Warzone Warhammer 40k mode
Warhammer medals were also leaked, indicating that an event mode could also be in the works for MW3 and Warzone’s Warhammer 40k collab.
Names of Warhammer bosses were found in the files too, including “Baton Jailer, Swamp Monster (Fenbeast), Orgre Butcher, and Mummy.” It’s unclear how these bosses will be involved in the collab and whether they will be seen in MW3, Warzone, or Zombies mode.
All in all, that’s everything we know so far about the Warhammer 40k crossover. Keep in mind that leaks are subject to change, so take all of them with a pinch of salt. We’ll be sure to update this piece when more information is available.
