MW3 and Warzone dataminers have discovered references to Warhammer 40K in the game files following Season 1 Reloaded, suggesting a collaboration is on the way.
Call of Duty has seen its fair share of collaborations, from sporting stars such as Messi and Neymar to music artists Niki Minaj and 21 Savage.
When it comes to MW3 and Warzone, players have been given a crossover with The Boys, bringing Operators inspired by the TV show’s infamous characters, as well as an LTM. More crossovers are likely on the way, as leaks suggest The Walking Dead could be coming down the line.
Now, after the Season 1 Reloaded update, dataminers found some references to the world of Warhammer 40k, suggesting a collaboration is imminent.
MW3 & Warzone x Warhammer crossover leaks
Dataminer ‘CODWarfareForum’ on X revealed a series of posts showing game files that reference the Warhammer franchise.
According to the leaks, players may be getting Warhammer 40k Operators for MW3 and Warzone after finding loading screens in the game files that show characters from the Warhammer universe.
The Operators, according to FumoLeaksMk1, include “Primarch of the Dark Angels, Interrogator-Chaplain Boreas” and “Helewise, Adeptas Sororitas.”
OPERATOR 2: HELEWISE, ADEPTAS SORORITAS This information comes from the loading screen which is official cover art of the book Pilgrims of Fire. pic.twitter.com/z8gbL25FNb — Fumo Leaks (@FumoLeaksMk1) January 17, 2024 The first loading screen is art of “The Dark Angels at the Battle of Piscina IV.” The image shows Interrogator-Chaplain Boreas just to the right, standing over enemies in classic Warhammer armor. The second shows sister Helewise kneeling down, with allies behind her. Perhaps these depictions of the characters are what their Operator skins will replicate. Warhammer medals were also leaked, indicating that an event mode could also be in the works for the MW3 and Warzone x Warhammer 40k collab. Names of Warhammer bosses were also found in the files, including “Baton Jailer, Swamp Monster (Fenbeast), Orgre Butcher and Mummy.” It’s unclear how these bosses will be involved in the potential collab and whether they will be seen in MW3, Warzone, or Zombies. Words like “buzzsaw” and “sword” were found too, which the dataminer speculated could be the iconic Eviscerator weapon used by Space Marine officers in Warhammer 40k. Nothing is confirmed, so take all of these leaks and speculation with a pinch of salt. We’ll be sure to update this piece when more information is available, including when the Warhammer 40k collab will be arriving in MW3 and Warzone.Recent Posts:
