MW3 Ranked Play arrives in Season 1 Reloaded
Modern Warfare 3 receives its Ranked Play mode with the Season 1 Reloaded update on January 17, 2024. Players will fight it out on the same maps and modes as the Call of Duty League, climbing Skill Divisions and earning exclusive rewards.
MW3’s Ranked Play mode will follow the official CDL ruleset and it will only be available to players who have hit the minimum requirement of Level 55.
New weapons in MW3 Season 1 Reloaded
MW3 Season 1 Reloaded will bring two new guns to further expand the game’s weapon roster, these include the HRM-9 SMG and TAQ Evolvere LMG.
MW3 Season 1 Reloaded brings Rio map
MW3 Season 1 Reloaded brings a new 6v6 map called Rio, taking place in an “upscale shopping center” in Rio de Janeiro. This small-to-medium-sized map has both the mall and exterior streets, with the covered walkway and the top of the garage offering high ground.
Rio is a brand-new 6v6 multiplayer map.
New modes in MW3 Season 1 Reloaded
Three new modes will arrive in MW3 Season 1 Reloaded, including some fan-favorite ones. Here’s every new and returning mode coming with the MW3 Season 1 Reloaded update:
Infected
The classic fan-favorite Infected will return to MW3. This mode will grant one player at random to spawn as the infected. These players will have to eliminate the other non-infected players. Non-infected players will be able to use a default loadout to defend themselves.
Headquarters
Additionally, another beloved mode, Headquarters, is also returning to MW3. In this mode, players will have to hold and secure a selected location for as long as they can. The defending HQ team will have respawns disabled.
Similar to other objective modes, the headquarters locations will slowly rotate around the map throughout the match.
Team Gunfight
Team Gunfight is a “6v6 version of Gunfight,” but played on “standard Multiplayer maps.” All players will receive the same randomized Loadout at the start of each round. This Loadout changes throughout the match. The first team to reach the elimination objective wins.
MW3 Season 1 Reloaded Zombies content
MW3 Zombies players will face a new threat as the Dokkaebi Operator will challenge you.
Modern Warfare 3 Season 1 Reloaded brings a new Warlord to challenge in the Zombies mode and her name is Dokkaebi.
Dokkaebi is a “key lieutenant within Terminus Outcomes,” and thanks to her access to a fleet of powerful drones, she’s not expected to be an easy target.
MW3 Season 1 Reloaded The Boys LTM & event
A-Train is one of two new The Boys Operators up for grabs in MW3.
The MW3 Season 1 Reloaded update will bring another The Boys crossover with a new LTM to try and an event to work through that provides free rewards.
The LTM will be a “Supe’d Up version of Kill Confirmed inspired by the hit TV series The Boys.” Instead of tags, Operators will drop Temp V doses upon death. The Temp V will then give players temporary power boosts while they aim to achieve the score limit.
Meanwhile The Boys: Supe Siege event will allow players to rack up some free rewards. In addition, players will be able to purchase A-Train and Firecracker as new Operators joining the fight in Season 1 Reloaded.
