The Modern Warfare 3 Season 2 Reloaded update marks the return of the fan-favorite Vanguard map Das Haus, but players are split over its new look that closely resembles a classic Counter-Strike arena.

Following the major content drop that arrived at the start of Season 2, the devs are doubling down with Modern Warfare 3 Season 2 Reloaded. The mid-season update delivers weapons like the SOA Subverter and Soulrender, alongside new Zombies missions.

As is the case with each major patch, multiplayer fans are also getting another map added to the pool. This time, Das Haus from CoD Vanguard is making a return, after it quickly became a fan-favorite in Sledgehammer’s last release.

It arrives in Modern Warfare 3 with a brand-new look that has left players divided, with some even claiming it looks similar to an iconic map from the Counter-Strike series.

While the original version of Das Haus was a tightly packed indoor map, the remaster removes the roof and places it at the top of a skyscraper “in the vicinity of Highrise.” It’s also been given a fresh coat of paint, making it much brighter and more vibrant.

Responding to a CharlieIntel X post, plenty of MW3 players quickly pointed out the similarities between the new Das Haus and Counter-Strike’s Vertigo. The classic map also takes place on a skyscraper that’s under construction, appearing in the original Counter-Strike, CS:GO, and now CS2.
