MW3 Season 2 brought a ton of new content for players to enjoy, however, a returning fan-favorite 1v1 mode has fans excited, allowing them to demonstrate their skill in multiplayer.
Modern Warfare 3 Season 2 is fully underway as players enjoy all the offerings within the game, including new 6v6 maps, a crossover with the popular series The Walking Dead, and fresh weaponry such as the BP50 and RAM-9.
Along with every seasonal update, the devs introduce new playlists granting players a variety of game modes to explore. Luckily for competitive players, Season 2 brought the fan-favorite 1v1 Shipment mode back, and players were delighted about it.
In a Reddit post, user ‘scXIII’ shared the news about the fan-favorite mode’s return: “Shipment Showdown. 1v1 Cagematch is back!!” and added, “I can’t wait to lose every match lmao!”
“Yoooo best news in a minute, I love a good cage match playlist,” a player said in the comments. Another user stated these “simple modes” should be added more often as the MW3 dev team is “overthinking modes and creating garbage ones.”
“Finally! I loved the 1v1 me bro playlist. I would literally sell half of the match to give people false hope and then start slide canceling and bunny hopping every corner lmfao,” another player added, expressing their excitement on the 1v1 mode return.
However, other players wanted to check if the 1v1 experience in Shipment was “legit” or if the game was going to “dictate what everyone can and can’t use.” Luckily, the OP confirmed that players can use their “own classes.”
Although it remains to be seen if SHG plan to rotate this 1v1 mode more often on Shipment or other maps, players are extremely happy about its return to multiplayer allowing them to compete on the iconic small map.
