The SOA Subverter is a brand-new Battle Rifle arriving in Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone Season 2 Reloaded that’s looking to follow in the footsteps of the BAS-B and rise to the top of the meta. Here’s how to unlock the SOA Subverter in Warzone and MW3.
As always, the new season also delivered a host of fresh weapons, like the RAM-9 and BP50. But the new arrivals don’t stop there, as the Reloaded update is adding the SOA Subverter, a brand-new Battle Rifle joining the BAS-B and Sidewinder.
So, here’s how to unlock the SOA Subverter in MW3 and Warzone Season 2.
How to unlock SOA Subverter in Warzone & MW3 Season 2
The SOA Subverter will be available through a Weekly Challenge when it arrives in Warzone and Modern Warfare 3 Season 2 Reloaded, as confirmed in the pre-launch blog. While the Soulrender will receive its own classified Sector of the Battle Pass, the Battle Rifle will be one of the weekly rewards usually occupied by Aftermarket Parts.
It hasn’t been announced what these Weekly Challenges will entail, but we expect that players will need to complete around five objectives from the same week, across Warzone, MW3, and Zombies.
The TAQ Evolvere from Season 1 followed a similar format, as players had to complete five Week 7 challenges to earn the LMG.
The SOA Subverter is the fourth Battle Rifle in MW3.
This means that MW3 and Warzone fans will have to grind a little harder to unlock the SOA Subverter compared to the other new guns.
If you’re wondering whether this “hard-hitting” rifle is worth the effort, here’s the dev’s official description of it: “With an effective damage range up to 25 meters and the highest rate of fire within its class, the SOA Subverter is well worth considering as your new main weapon.”
“Its steady upward recoil is easily manageable for staying on target through sustained fire, combined with a solid damage output that downs most enemies in three to four shots before factoring in Armor Plates.”
That was everything you need to know about how to unlock the SOA Subverter in MW3 and Warzone. We’ll be sure to update this page once the full slate of challenges has been released.
