To earn the Cursed Ammo reward in MW3 and Warzone, players will have to farm Mimic kills and gather 200 Mimic Skulls during the Horde Hunt event.
Mimics are a special Zombies type characterized by tentacle arms and a gigantic mouth which can be found in MW3’s multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone Resurgence.
Luckily, the CODUpdates X account announced on February 23, 2024, that players will now “earn 2X Skulls in the Horde Hunt Event,” which will significantly improve the required time to complete these challenges.

To get Mimic Skulls in MW3 multiplayer, the best way to farm them is by playing the Hordepoint Mimic Mania playlist within the Horde Hunt event. When killing a Mimic within the LTM, this Zombie type will drop a Skull, which will count towards your challenge progression.

How to get Mimic Skulls in Warzone Horde Hunt event
To get as many Mimic Skulls as possible in Warzone, all you’ll need to do is open loot caches in Plunder. Although you can complete this challenge in other modes, Plunder offers the fastest method to do this, averaging around 50-70 Mimic Skulls per match.
