Warzone is arguably the most popular battle royale out there, with millions of players dropping into Warzone’s Urzikstan each day to get their first-person shooter fix in. Part of the reason that the game is so popular is the fact that it’s a free-to-play game, meaning you don’t have to pay to jump into the action.
With Warzone Season 1 Reloaded almost upon us, now is a great time to hop on Warzone, whether you’re a returning player or new to the game. With that in mind, do you need to buy PlayStation Plus or Xbox Live Gold to play Warzone? We’ve got the answers.
For those on either PS4 or PS5, the good news is that you do not need a PS Plus membership to play Warzone. This means you can also play the game with friends, in a party chat, without subscribing to PlayStation’s premium membership.
PS Plus is required if you want to play online in games like MW3’s multiplayer or Zombies mode. But, if Warzone is the only game you’re interested in, you can save yourself some money.
