Black Ops 6 has been confirmed and is being developed by Treyarch, leaving many wondering about Zombies. The beloved undead mode has changed a lot throughout the years, so what will it look like in Black Ops 6?

Will Black Ops 6 have Zombies?

We expect Black Ops 6 to have Zombies, as although it has not been confirmed just yet, leaks and past Treyarch CoD titles mean that it is very likely.

What’s unclear, however, is what form of Zombies will be seen in Black Ops 6, as leaks suggest that the classic round-based format could return along with Outbreak 2, which is said to be a mix of Outbreak from Black Ops Cold War and MW3’s extraction Zombies mode.

Black Ops 6 Zombies leaks

As well as leaks suggesting that round-based Zombies will return alongside Outbreak 2, Zombies news account ‘MargwaNetwork’ on X has compiled leaks surrounding early details on Black Ops 6 Zombies’ maps, Wonder Weapons, and more.

Keep in mind that these details are all leaks and speculation, so take them with a pinch of salt. We’ll be sure to update this piece with official information once Treyarch officially confirm.

Maps & modes

According to leaks, Black Ops 6 Zombies will have an “Island Map” and a “Liberty Falls Map.” The Island map will have a “port and an underground cellblock/lab accessible via a tube elevator,” and may also have a “ship with cannons” and a “tentacle trap.” This sounds like the round-based map.

The Liberty Falls map is said to be set in a “West Virginian city with a bank and chapel.” Dataminers claim this map will have a Wonder Weapon quest, “a main quest with a cutscene,” and even mini objectives with “soldier enemy AI,” which makes it sound like the Outbreak 2 map.

The leaks also claim that “exfils are returning,” suggesting further that Liberty Falls could possibly be the map for Outbreak 2.

Leaked Wonder Weapons, enemies, & more

As well as leaks about the Black Ops 6 Zombies maps, the leaker also claims that the mode will have a “new weapon” that causes enemy skin to “bubble,” as well as the return of the “Jet gun and Ray gun.”

The new weapon sounds similar to the KT-4 from Black Ops 3 Zombies Zetsubo No Shima map, but this is just speculation.

Manglers, the Mystery Box, crafting, and a “bubblegum machine” were also mentioned in the Black Ops 6 Zombies leaks, as well as a new “Tentacle dog” type.
