ActivisionThe BAL 27 was previously featured in 2014’s Advanced Warfare.
The fan-favorite Advanced Warfare BAL-27 has taken the fifth-best spot after a small buff in the previous season. Like most of its counterparts, this AR features little to no recoil, high damage and range, and can kill enemies in a few shots with its powerful and consistent bullet velocity.
4. MTZ-556
ActivisionThe MTZ-556 is a great all-around AR to use.
Considered MW3’s version of the ISO Hemlock, the MTZ-556 comes in at number four. It’s a great pick, especially after a buff to its damage range, which makes it even stronger across longer distances.
This AR is easy to use and boasts a great fire rate perfect for mid-ranges, however, its damage isn’t as great as its counterparts.
3. MCW
ActivisionThe MCW boasts outstanding recoil control.
Veteran players will recognize the MCW because it is MW3’s version of the legendary ACR. Like its original version, this AR has very low recoil and competitive damage. If you are looking for an easy-to-use weapon to dominate medium and long distances, you should definitely give this gun a try.

2. SVA 545

After a buff in the Season 5 update, the SVA 545 continues to be an impressively accurate AR, enabling you to shred your enemies in quick succession. Given its impressive damage profile and minimal recoil, this AR took over the meta in Urzikstan and Resurgence.
1. STG44 – Best Assault Rifle in Warzone

Returning after a hiatus, the STG44 has become an instant hit since being introduced in Season 5 thanks to its ridiculously low recoil and excellent damage. When paired with the new Quartermaster Suppressor, I found it to be the easiest weapon to use, being extremely accurate and controllable across mid and long distances.
It’s well worth getting through the Battle Pass to unlock the AR, so try your best to work your way through it as quickly as possible to start dominating lobbies with the iconic gun.
Speaking of the Season 5 Battle Pass, the new Static-HV SMG is no slouch either, which you can pair with the STG44 for a deadly meta combo.
On top of using the best weapons, make sure you also have the best settings, including controller, audio, and FOV to dominate the battle royale and level up easily.
