Warzone expert WhosImmortal has revealed that players can run an updated version of the iconic Grau 5.56 iron sights that dominated Verdansk. However, it does come with a catch for those looking to recapture the magic.

Warzone has seen some iconic metas over the years, as certain weapons have completely taken over the game at various times. From the MTZ Interceptor that dominated the early days of Urzikstan to the Kar98k that became notorious on Caldera, there’s been no shortage of OP options.

One of the most popular metas in the battle royale to date is the Grau 5.56, which became the go-to Assault Rifle back in the Verdansk era. This was due to its extremely easy-to-manage recoil and beloved iron sight, which became an instant hit with the community.

Now, Warzone expert WhosImmortal has revealed that the classic Grau iron sight is back in the game, albeit with a catch.

In his March 18 video, the YouTuber explained that the Heretic’s Bane Blueprint for the TAQ Evolvere LMG, which was added to the store as part of the Warhammer 40K crossover, comes with an iron sight that’s almost identical to the classic Grau 5.56.

He went on to say that anyone who purchases the bundle will have access to one of the “cleanest iron sights in the game,” as well as an absolute “laserbeam” that’s reminiscent of the popular AR. However, he also caveated it by saying that the TAQ Evolvere is much slower since it’s an LMG.

Check out WhosImmortal’s “Grau 2.0” build in Warzone Season 2 Reloaded below.

WhosImmortal’s “Grau 2.0” loadout in Warzone

  • Muzzle: VT-7 Spiritfire Suppressor
  • Barrel: LRF Righteous Long Barrel
  • Underbarrel: Kimura Seraphic Vertical Grip
  • Ammunition: 7.62x51mm High Grain Rounds
  • Stock: SA Kilonova Stock

Although the clean iron sight is limited to the Heretic’s Bane Blueprint in Warzone, once it’s equipped you can freely swap the attachments while still keeping the look of the Grau 5.56. This means you can still build the TAQ Evolvere to be a long-range monster without breaking the illusion.

Unfortunately, the only way to unlock this iconic feature is by purchasing the Sisters of Battle Tracer Pack from the store, which costs 2,400 CoD Points ($20). So, although it won’t be for everyone, it’s a nice throwback that long-time Warzone fans will no doubt enjoy.
