Warzone Season 6 is set to be the last seasonal update to arrive before Black Ops 6 launches, so here’s the release date and everything we know about it so far.
After nearly nine months of content drops, including Season 5 which saw the likes of the STG44 and Torque 35 arrive, this chapter of Warzone is almost over. But before BO6 introduces a host of new weapons, we still have one more season of the MW3 era to go.
Warzone Season 6 release date
The Warzone Season 6 update will arrive on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, based on the in-game timer on the Season 5 Battle Pass. Although nothing has been officially confirmed by the devs, the next season always arrives on the same day the previous BP expires.
Many had wondered if there would even be a Season 6 with the release of Black Ops 6 looming, but it was revealed in a blog post that the update is planned and will remove the remaining BO6 beta files from the game.

The devs are yet to unveil what will be included in Warzone Season 6, but certain elements arrive in each major update without fail. For example, we’re guaranteed a new Battle Pass to grind through and a host of weapon balancing changes to keep the meta fresh.
There will also be some new guns and Operator skins to unlock, but we’ll have to wait until nearer the time to get a clearer idea of what these will be.
As mentioned before, Season 6 is the last full season before the new game releases, so check when Warzone integrates with Black Ops 6 and all of the gameplay changes it will bring.
