Here’s how Warzone Rebirth Lockdown works, which is the new game mode for Rebirth Island that’s coming in Season 3 Reloaded.
Warzone Season 3 Reloaded introduces Rebirth Lockdown to the Resurgence map, which is essentially the Lockdown mode that was seen for Vondel back in Warzone 2. The mode is exclusive to Rebirth Island and features a format that will be familiar to those who enjoy the multiplayer mode Hardpoint.
For those interested, here’s how Rebirth Lockdown works in Warzone Season 3 Reloaded.
Warzone Rebirth Lockdown explained
Rebirth Lockdown is a new Warzone game mode for Rebirth Island that sees squads fighting for control over capture zones across the map. Teams can score points for each zone they hold, similar to the CoD multiplayer mode Hardpoint. Rebirth Lockdown arrives on May 1 with the Season 3 Reloaded update.
As revealed in the CoD Blog, there are 28 players in this mode, and you drop in with a Custom Loadout of your choice. Instead of the last squad standing format battle royale players are used to, teams win Rebirth Lockdown by holding as many zones as possible, scoring points to reach the score limit.
Respawns are unlimited, and towards the end of the match, High-Value Zones will appear for a chance to earn more points and shift the tide of victory. Those who played Vondel Lockdown will be familiar with Rebirth Lockdown, as it’s essentially the same format but for Rebirth Island instead.
That was everything you need to know about Warzone’s Rebirth Lockdown mode.
