The Warzone Season 5 Reloaded update has brought a Killstreak duplication glitch, leading to an endless onslaught of Bunker Busters, ruining the Ranked Play and Supreme Resurgence modes.
The Bunker Buster is a powerful Killstreak that hits people inside buildings and emits a toxic gas that deals damage to anyone nearby. One is powerful enough, but through this new glitch, they can’t be avoided.
I won’t say how to replicate this exploit but any item can be duplicated, giving the cheater an unlimited amount to use. It’s not the first duplication glitch to hit Warzone, but Bunker Busters on the small Rebirth Island map makes the issue much worse.
Reports really kicked off on Friday, August 23, and have only gotten more common as the weekend rolled on. Now, social media is ablaze with players complaining about the glitch and begging the devs for a fix.
“Ranked became unplayable,” said Reddit user ‘phersper.’ “Every match there’s at least one team throwing almost 50+ [Bunker Busters] by the time the game ends.”
“Game crashed because there [were] 23 Bunker Busters on the map simultaneously,” replied ‘KrispylC.’
Over on X/Twitter, ‘Solgob’ said they “died to this exploit two games in a row” after watching “ these dudes pop about 200 bunker busters and UAVs in Warzone.” In their tweet, we can see loads of UAVs on the ground. ‘Wumpalive’ showed a similar screenshot, with the floor covered in Bunker Busters.
The devs haven’t responded at the time of writing but with the sheer amount of complaints and its effect on Resurgence playlists, it’s most likely a top priority.
While the Bunker Buster could be disabled until they find a fix, players using the exploit would likely revert to using the next most powerful thing, so they’d still have unlimited UAVs, Gas Masks, and Airstrikes. If you’re using the exploit yourself, expect to get at least shadowbanned.
