A World Series of Warzone 2024 player has admitted they used cheats in a competitive last-chance qualifier but, even with an unfair advantage, they still didn’t make the cut
The hacker in question, Vexoh, admitted his wrongdoings on X, coming clean about using cheats during the WSOW LCQ.
In the now-deleted post, Vexoh said, “Yeah I did that s**t no way of fighting against it. Just got greedy.” Then they claimed that he and his teammate aren’t the only ones using cheats in WSOW, saying, “If you really believe me, chef, and onoy are the only people that did it, you’re just blatantly wrong.”
“I’m decent at hiding it,” said Vexoh, suggesting that others in World Series of Warzone are too.
WSOW sees the best battle royale players across the globe compete for $1 million dollars. When the competitive integrity of the match is breached, it weighs heavy on legit players trying to qualify, especially considering the huge prize money up for grabs.
Popular CoD content creator IceManIsaac chimed in, “Vexoh was #2 for Individual Kills and #2 for Team Kills. Unimaginable impact on today’s tournament…Likely one of many. Warzone comp is chalked.”
One of Vexoh’s teammates, Ro-Breezy, claimed to have had no idea that his squad was cheating. He even dropped a video of their Discord conversion in which the cheater admitted to using hacks. Vexoh said he had been using cheats since February 2024.
