Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile arrives on March 21, 2024, and it brings back the fan-favorite Verdansk and Rebirth Island maps. However, if you’re wondering whether you can play Warzone Mobile with your friends on PC and console, here’s everything you need to know about its crossplay and cross-progression.
Following Call of Duty: Mobile‘s incredible success, it should be no surprise to learn that Activision are bringing Warzone, their hit battle royale, to mobile devices. After a long period of Limited Release, Warzone Mobile finally arrives on March 21.
With Warzone Mobile bringing weapons, Operators, and mechanics from Modern Warfare 3, you might wonder whether you can play the mobile version with your squadmates on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC. Here’s everything we know about Warzone Mobile‘s crossplay and cross-progression.
Does Warzone Mobile have crossplay?
While we expect Warzone Mobile to feature crossplay between Android and iOS, it will not feature cross-platform with console and PC players at launch.
There could be many reasons why, including performance, FOV options, and the fairness between a touch screen and controller/mouse and keyboard. But, the obvious reason is that Verdansk and Rebirth Island aren’t in Warzone on console and PC.
Even if Warzone Mobile supported crossplay between mobile and mouse and keyboard, there aren’t any shared battle royale maps you could play together.
Rebirth Island has been leaked to arrive in Warzone for console and PC with the Season 3 update and Verdansk is rumored to arrive with ‘Black Ops Gulf War’ later in 2024, but still, crossplay seems unlikely.
