Among these weapon balance changes, the Shotguns’ fire Ammunition suffered a drastic nerf. Veteran players will remember the deadly Shotguns builds within the battle royale, however, the Season 1 Reloaded update has managed to stop their continued dominance in the close-range meta.

Despite Warzone players opting for the WSP Swarm as their favorite pick for short ranges during Season 1, fire Shotguns have been proven to be useful when in closed places allowing them to kill several enemies with a few shots.
Luckily, players who experienced the outstanding power of the Dragon’s Breath Ammunition can find relief knowing that the nerfs are expected to encourage players to explore alternative choices. Notably, the WSP Swarm is set to maintain its leading position, due to it avoiding the nerf in the mid-season update.
