Warzone has received a significant update following MW3’s integration, introducing changes players have been asking for a long time. This includes several movement updates, a revamped Perk system, and a ton of quality-of-life improvements.
However, many fans of the game are still wondering when the fan-favorite Resurgence maps, Rebirth Island and Fortune’s Keep, will return to the free-to-play title. So, here’s all we know about Fortune’s Keep and Rebirth Island’s return to Warzone.
Fortune’s Keep and Rebirth Island return to Warzone
Activision have confirmed that Rebirth Island and Fortune’s Keep maps are set to return to Warzone in 2024, the first slated for early 2024 and the former for later 2024.
Additionally, Raven Software confirmed that the original teams, High Moon Studios and Beenox, are spearheading the development for the comeback of both maps.
After the announcement, the overwhelmingly positive reception of Warzone’s most frenetic mode’s beloved maps could potentially strengthen player engagement and restore interest in the free-to-play title.
Following the closure of Warzone Caldera on September 21, 2023, Resurgence fans have sole access to the Vondel, Ashika Island, and limited zones within Urzikstan’s POIs as experiences.
