Best MW3 Static-HV loadout

MW3 Season 5 has introduced players to the Static-HV, a new SMG that’s nice and compact but packs a huge base magazine size. To get the most out of the new weapon in battle royale, we’ve detailed the best Static-HV loadout for Modern Warfare 3.

Here are all the attachments, Perks, and Equipment you need to build the best class setup for the Static-HV in MW3 Season 5.

Best MW3 Static-HV loadout attachments

  • Barrel: Auger 840 Light Barrel
  • Muzzle: ZEHMN35 Compensated Flash
  • Underbarrel: XTEN Phantom-5 Handstop
  • Stock: SPRY 34 Light Stock
  • Laser: 1MW Quick Fire Laser

Our best Static-HV loadout for Modern Warfare 3 is built for mobility, handling, and recoil control, making it the perfect choice for small and medium-sized maps.

The Auger 840 Light Barrel and SPRY 34 Light Stock combine to improve aim down sight, sprint-to-fire, and movement speeds, as well as hipfire and Tac-Stance accuracy for those close-range fights where aiming isn’t an option.

To control the recoil, I found the ZEHMN35 Compensated Flash muzzle a great help for staying on target, especially in fights that edge more toward the mid-range.

As for the Underbarrel, the XTEN Phantom-5 Handstop is an essential attachment for the build. It improves the gun’s recoil control while also aiding sprint-to-fire and ADS speeds, a rare combination that pairs very well with the Static-HV.

For another boost to the gun’s ADS speed, the 1MW Quick Fire Laser is a nice attachment to round out the class setup.

Best Perks & Equipment for Static-HV

  • Vest: Ninja Vest
  • Boots: Lightweight Boots
  • Gear: Ghost T/V Camo
  • Lethal: Semtex
  • Tactical: Flash Grenade
  • Field Upgrade: Trophy System

The Ninja Vest is a great pick for staying incognito on the map, allowing you to get around and drop enemies discreetly. This combines well with the Ghost T/V Camo, as you’ll then also be able to evade UAVs while on the move while staying silent.

Next, Lightweight Boots provide some mobility, which is great with the Static-HV as you’ll want to be fast on your feet, darting around the map and getting up close and personal with the opposition.

As for Equipment, the Semtex is a top choice for clearing rooms and sticking enemies for big damage. Flash Grenades are also great for flushing out areas and blinding enemies before making a push.

Lastly, the Trophy System is perfect for objective game modes as it stops enemy Equipment from damaging and stunning you and your teammates.

How to unlock Static-HV in Modern Warfare 3

To unlock the Static-HV in MW3, you’ll need to reach and complete Sector 6 of the Season 5 Battle Pass.

The good thing is that it’s a free unlock, so you won’t need to purchase the Battle Pass to unlock the new SMG. However, it’ll take some grinding to get there, so check out our guide on how to level up fast.

Best alternatives

The Static-HV is a close-range SMG, but if you want something with slightly more range, the Superi 46 is a top choice despite nerfs in Season 5.

The RAM-9 is another superb choice for smaller maps, as it has a high fire rate and a decent base magazine at 32 rounds.

Round off the loadout with the MW3 best controller setup and audio settings to hear enemies more effectively. If you’re more into Warzone, check out our best attachments for the SMG in the battle royale.
