Warzone Ranked Play introduces several changes compared to the casual playlist to improve competitive balance. If you’re wondering what those adjustments are, here are all the restrictions coming to Warzone Ranked Play.

Warzone Season 2 is set to introduce the first-ever Ranked Play mode for Resurgence, offering players a competitive experience within the fan-favorite mode.

Players can grind Ranked matches to work their way through the Skill Divisions, gaining SR through getting as many kills and assists as they can, as well as placing high. Doing so will grant rewards, but the key to success may be knowing the ins and outs of the mode.

With that said, here are all of the restrictions for Warzone Resurgence Ranked Play, so you know exactly what you can and can’t use in the competitive mode.

Warzone Ranked Play squad size & map

The squad size for Warzone Resurgence Ranked Play will be restricted to Trios on Fortune’s Keep, resulting in 51 players per match distributed among 17 teams.

Warzone Ranked Play restricted weapons, attachments & events

To make Warzone Ranked Play a fairer experience for all players, Call of Duty introduce certain weapon and attachment restrictions to avoid gameplay disparities.

This could include the Riot Shield, several Shotguns, all launchers, and overpowered attachments like Snake Shots, Corvus Torch, Dragon’s Breath Ammo, and more.
