Ubisoft announced that they will be adding new Factions to XDefiant to keep the gameplay experience fresh. Check out everything we know about which Faction will be coming next to the shooter.
XDefiant Preseason is in full swing, featuring an interesting arsenal of weapons that can be customized with numerous attachments to unlock. Ubisoft‘s new shooter also has five factions, each with unique abilities, but the developers have announced that new Factions will be arriving in the future.

Next XDefiant Faction leaked
Insider AgainTx revealed that GSG9 from Rainbow Six Siege is likely to be the next Faction to arrive in XDefiant, although Ubisoft have not yet announced anything so far. However, they clarify that it’s still unclear which specific unit would be included in the Faction, as they could choose from various options: Jager, IQ, Blitz, and Bandit.
Next XDefiant Faction release date
The sixth Faction will arrive in XDefiant on July 2 with the launch of Season 1, as confirmed by Ubisoft when they released XDefiant’s Year 1 Roadmap. Additionally, they announced one new Faction for each season from Season 1 to Season 4.
All upcoming XDefiant Factions & leaks
Ubisoft have only confirmed the codenames of the next four Factions. They will be released once per season as follows:
- Season 1: Ruby
- Season 2: Buzz
- Season 3: Orchard
- Season 4: Horde
