A new Xbox Game Pass perk for Call of Duty: Warzone and Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has been announced, and fans will be able to claim it starting on October 15. Call of Duty: Warzone is set to go through some changes as Black Ops 7 fast approaches. The hugely popular battle royale will merge with Treyarch’s new futuristic Black Ops sequel once Season 1 goes live, and so far, Call of Duty has confirmed that several changes to the Verdansk map, as well as a new Resurgence map called Haven’s Hollow, are on the way.

Xbox Game Pass has also been going through some changes to the dismay of many of its subscribers. Its Core membership is now called Essential, its Standard tier is now known as Premium, and while its Ultimate membership remains unchanged in name, Xbox has jacked up its price to $30, causing a wave of outrage among the community. Part of the reason for this eye-watering Ultimate price increase is the inclusion of Ubisoft+ into the subscription, which adds a huge number of Assassin’s Creed, Far Cry, and Tom Clancy games to the catalog. Plus, a big upcoming slate of first-party games like The Outer Worlds 2, Double Fine’s Keeper, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, and even Ninja Gaiden 4, is also a likely reason for the increase.

Xbox Game Pass Subscribers are Getting a Free Call of Duty: Warzone Bundle

In the wake of the Game Pass Ultimate price hike news, Call of Duty has revealed a new perk that will be accessible to all subscribers of Xbox Game Pass. Going live on October 15, this cosmetic bundle, which will be usable in both Black Ops 6 and Call of Duty: Warzone, includes two operator skins, three weapon blueprints, a weapon charm, two loading screens, a finishing move, a spray and weapon decal, and two hour-long XP tokens. At the moment, what exactly these character skins and weapon blueprints are is a complete mystery.

With the recent Game Pass price hike causing a lot of frustration among Xbox gamers, it’s good to know that this Call of Duty bundle will be coming to all Game Pass subscribers regardless of which tier they’re subscribed to. Plus, this seems like one of the heftier Call of Duty cosmetic bundles, as most of them only contain one operator and two weapon blueprints. It’ll be interesting to find out whether this is an older Black Ops 6 bundle or if it’s a new, unique one that’s been created exclusively for this Game Pass perk, and whether it’ll eventually become available to all Call of Duty players in the in-game store.

It’s a super busy time for Call of Duty fans at the moment, as Black Ops 6‘s Halloween-themed Haunting event is underway, bringing horror icons like Chucky, Jason Voorhees, and the Predator to the game. Plus, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is just over a month away, launching on November 14, and will be a day-one addition to the Ultimate tier of Xbox Game Pass.
