Max Candelarezi
CoD Mobile is expected to arrive on PC allowing players to experience an improved version of the free-to-play. Here’s everything we need about CoD Mobile’s PC version so far, including the leaked requirements, connectivity, and more.
Since its launch, Call of Duty‘s mobile version, CoD Mobile, has been a huge success for Activision, raking in billions in revenue. However, despite its success, players have consistently expressed a desire for an official PC release that mirrors the console gaming experience.
Luckily, several leaks suggest that the eagerly anticipated PC version may be on the horizon. Unlike emulator versions or other platforms, players can anticipate a complete free-to-play experience on high-end devices.
So, if you’re wondering how this CoD Mobile’s PC version will be, here’s all we know so far.
Will CoD Mobile be available on PC?
CoD Mobile is expected to officially arrive on PC sometime in the future, according to leaks. Currently, this version is only being tested in China.
Despite not many details being revealed yet, the CoDM PC version is set to offer players access to the game without the need for an emulator of another online platform.
CoD Mobile was first released in October 2019 for mobile devices.
CoD Mobile PC leaked requirements
User ‘Leakers On Duty‘ in X shared an alleged list of the minimum PC requirements players will need to gather to access CoD Mobiles’s PC version once it’s released.
Intel Core i5 4590 CPU
8GB memory
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti
Windows 7
In another X post, the user highlighted that the current test version of CoDM on PC supposedly “requires less setup compared to existing CODM emulator.” If this persists until launch, it could allow many players to access the game without the need to upgrade their setups.
CoD Mobile PC leaked graphic improvements
Taking advantage of the PC potential, leaks suggest that CoD Mobile‘s version will “closely resemble the highest graphical quality currently available on the mobile version.”
Additionally, for those devices that allow it, the game is expected to feature “120 FPS,” and “slightly improved Anti-Aliasing and Lighting.”
Will your CoD Mobile account be connected to the PC version?
CoD Mobile’s PC version is expected to offer a ton of free CoD-themed content for players.
According to Leakers on Duty on X, players are expected to use their “CODM account on the PC version.” This would mean the player’s original mobile account will allegedly “seamlessly work” with the PC one.
Will mobile players be able to play with PC users?
Leaks suggest “mobile players will be able to play with PC friends,” however, they will seemingly be “matched with other PC players.” This means PC players are expected to have separate lobbies, therefore being unable to play on mobile lobbies.
All in all, that’s everything we know so far about CoDM’s PC version. Keep in mind these leaks are subject to change, so take them with a pinch of salt.
