Following a series of weapon balancing updates in Warzone Season 2 Reloaded, CoD expert Metaphor has revealed that an iconic AR was “overbuffed” and taking over the meta.
Warzone players are slowly discovering the new meta after the Season 2 Reloaded update, which brought plenty of buffs and nerfs across the board. This left many wondering what the best guns to use are, as plenty of popular choices have fallen out of favor since the patch.
The Assault Rifle category is the go-to for much of the community, thanks to their versatility at all ranges and easy-to-use recoil. But with heavy hitters like the RAM-7 and BP50 being hit with nerfs, there is a gap at the top of the meta waiting to be filled.
Luckily, Warzone expert Metaphor has revealed that an iconic AR was actually “overbuffed” in the midseason update, and it’s primed to take over the game.
In his March 10 video, the YouTuber claimed that the MCW, better known as the ACR, has “unbelievable” damage and accuracy since the update. He urged players to build it out with Tac-Stance in mind, as it can tear through enemies with incredible precision.
He went to show off his loadout for the MCW, which you can check out below.
Metaphor’s best MCW loadout in Warzone Season 2 Reloaded
- Barrel: Orchestra-40 Short Heavy Barrel
- Laser: Verdant Hook Box Laser
- Underbarrel: Bruen Bastion Angled Grip
- Magazine: 40 Round Mag
- Conversion Kit: JAK Raven Kit
Metaphor’s best MCW loadout in Warzone revolves around buffing hipfire and Tac-Stance accuracy, allowing players to easily pick off enemies without needing to aim. Arguably the secret weapon is the JAK Raven Kit, which drastically improves these two areas and makes the ACR feel more like an SMG.
“I think this is the one and only true Tac-Stance meta in the game at this point,” Metaphor explained. “With this Tactical-Stance it is laser-accurate from close to mid-range, and you’re able to just completely decimate people. Even with one headshot, it’s over.
He went on to mention that this Tac-Stance build is “an up-and-coming meta” that he thinks “will be used by a lot of people” going forward.
