Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 recently launched its big Season 2 Reloaded update, which brought a plethora of new content to the game as well as various in-game files that have revealed new information on the game’s next season.

With Verdansk set to return to Call of Duty: Warzone in Spring 2025, new leaks reveal fresh details on the map’s highly anticipated return.
Modern Warfare’s Roze Operator Could Be Coming To Black Ops 6
According to Call of Duty leaker HeyImAlaix, Roze, Mace, and Hudson may all be returning for Season 3 of Black Ops 6. While Hudson is already an existing character in the Black Ops universe, Roze and Mace are not. The discovery comes shortly after the launch of Season 2 Reloaded, as new in-game files have been added to prepare for the game’s next season. There will likely be plenty of other operators coming with Season 3, but the return of Roze could be massively controversial if the operator is wearing a certain skin. Back in the days of the rebooted Modern Warfare series, Roze received multiple nerfs in Warzone and multiplayer due to the skin being completely blacked out, which led to numerous visibility issues.
There have been many Roze 2.0 skins in Call of Duty since the days of Modern Warfare, but none have truly compared to the chaos that this skin caused at release. At the time of writing, there’s no way to know if Roze will come with the controversial skin or if it will be one of the operator’s other appearances. However, the return of Verdansk has fans wondering if Roze’s re-release is merely to celebrate Warzone‘s 5th anniversary, but Alaix states that all three operators appear to be directly tied to Black Ops 6, which suggests they will also be available for use in multiplayer. Whether or not players will need to re-purchase the operators is also yet to be seen.
Season 3 may still be a good few weeks away, which means fans will need to wait to find out if Verdansk and the previously mentioned operators are actually going to return with the update. In the meantime, Call of Duty recently launched its big Season 2 Reloaded update, which added a plethora of new content to Black Ops 6. A fan-favorite weapon from Black Ops 3 made its triumphant return, along with the iconic Grind multiplayer map from Black Ops 2. As for Warzone, there’s even more quality-of-life improvements, bug fixes, and a new perk for players to check out.
