New Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 2 Reloaded Map Seems to Recreate an Iconic Meme

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 players are mocking Bullet, one of the new multiplayer maps for Season 2 Reloaded, as it has a striking resemblance to an iconic meme map that was created by a player last year. Season 2 Reloaded kicks off on February 20 and will bring plenty of new cosmetic items, weapons, modes, maps, and more to Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, with one of the two maps being a remastered version from a fan favorite Black Ops game.

On February 18, publisher Activision pulled back the curtain on the next major content update for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone. Known as Season 2 Reloaded, the mid-season refresh will bring a plethora of content to Treyarch Studios’ latest shooter, including a highly anticipated collaboration with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The event will bring all four turtles to the world of Call of Duty, along with some iconic melee weapons, limited-time modes, a new Event Pass, and various other cosmetic items. However, it is one of the game’s latest maps that has become the talk of the Call of Duty community, and not for a good reason.

Call of Duty Fans Mock New Bullet Map for Black Ops 6 Season 2 Reloaded

Following the full reveal of Call of Duty Season 2 Reloaded, fans took to social media to mock the new Bullet map that will be coming to Black Ops 6 on February 20. Back in November, shortly after the latest entry in the Black Ops series was released, Reddit user Doug_HF created a joke concept for a Hallway map, which was simply a straight map with four walls and nothing else. Now, with the upcoming release of Season 2 Reloaded, developer Treyarch Studios looks to have taken inspiration from the meme, as Bullet is a straight map and has a layout unlike any other map in the game. Below are two images: the first is the layout of Bullet, a real map coming to Black Ops 6 and the second is the joke concept created by Doug_HF.

Plenty of Call of Duty players were quick to compare the two maps, with one user saying that the Hallway map creator “called it.” The original creator of the Hallway concept even chimed in and said, “Jesus Christ, they actually did it.” Reddit user Jespertherapper said they are “not surprised” but that “the meme of the hallway just took a whole new meaning.” Not everyone was mocking the new Black Ops 6 map, though, as Knight_Dark142 noted that there are “enough walls and obstacles” to prevent spawn sniping and pointed out that players can also climb on top of the bullet train, adding to the map’s verticality and adding a whole new element to its play style.

While some fans have been obsessing over the hilarious Bullet map, others have been expressing their concern over Call of Duty‘s new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles event. Alongside the reveal of Season 2 Reloaded, Activision also gave fans a better look at the previously announced collaboration with TMNT. However, fans were quick to blast the studio for once again releasing a premium Event Pass as well as multiple paid bundles. Although the premium Event Pass will allow players to unlock the Splinter operator skin, fans looking to get their hands on the actual Ninja Turtles will need to purchase multiple bundles from the in-game store.
