DMR meta returns to Warzone thanks to OP LMG Conversion Kit

As controversial as Aftermarket Parts may be, Conversion Kits can give less popular Warzone weapons a boost, especially if the attachment is strong. That’s the case with the JAK Protean, as it essentially turns the RAAL MG into the DMR from the original Warzone.

After arriving in Season 5’s Week 4 challenges, players quickly discovered just how strong the Conversion Kit is, noticing its three-shot potential.

The attachment turns the MW2 LMG into a versatile close and long-range weapon. In full-auto, its fire rate is increased, while switching it to semi-automatic turns it into a powerful Battle Rifle that improves its damage range, bullet velocity, and limb damage.

The semi-auto mode is really the star of the show, as while you may switch to full-auto for close-range combat, the RAAL MG’s single-fire damage with the JAK Protean is absolutely insane.

You can drop enemies in three shots as long as you manage to hit the head. You can even spam the trigger for a fast fire rate, making it deadly even if you don’t hit the head every time.

When using the JAK Protean, I found myself rapidly downing enemy Operators, often being surprised at how strong it was. Range is not an issue with this build, and the hybrid optic you automatically get with the Conversion Kit will cover all the distances you need.

You can opt for a different sight, but I recommend keeping the default one if you don’t mind it, as it frees up an attachment slot elsewhere. Even popular YouTubers WhosImmortal and Booya are clocking just how powerful this Conversion Kit is.

WhosImmortal described the RAAL MG with the JAK Protean as the “DMR 2.0,” a semi-automatic weapon from the original Warzone that dominated lobbies for a long time, showing just how highly he rates the new attachment.

Booya showcased a 32-kill win using the build, with multiple clips of him destroying enemies with just three shots.

If you’re yet to unlock this AMP, make sure you do so and give it a go before it gets nerfed. You’ll want to use the gun in semi-auto for the most part, so you’ll want a close-quarters secondary like the Static-HV or AMR9 for a balanced loadout.
