Call of Duty Reveals New Weapons Coming in Season 3 Reloaded

Summary

  • Call of Duty: Black Ops 6’s Season 3 Reloaded update brings a new weapon, conversion kit, maps, and limited-time mode.
  • Players can expect a new SMG called the Ladra and an explosive mini-rocket attachment for the Goblin Mk2 assault rifle.
  • Treyarch suggests compensating for the Ladra SMG’s low damage with a larger magazine and using Goblin Mk2’s splash damage strategically.

In the lead-up to Call of Duty: Black Ops 6‘s Season 3 Reloaded update, developer Treyarch has revealed a new weapon and a new conversion kit coming to the game. Season 3 Reloaded is set to go live in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 this Thursday, May 1. Two new 6v6 multiplayer maps, Signal and Haven, will be added to the game, along with the new Joint Operations limited-time-mode, new Zombies features, and more.

After a small delay out of March, Season 3 of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 began in early April instead. As is standard procedure with any new Call of Duty season, Season 3 added a host of new weapons to the game that players have been able to make use of to tear up the battlefield. The CR-56 AMAX assault rifle and hard-hitting HDR Sniper Rifle were the two weapons made available in Black Ops 6‘s Season 3 battle pass, while the Kilo 141 assault rifle was rewarded to players who logged into Call of Duty: Warzone. Treyarch even added a nail gun to the game that’s unlockable as part of the in-game Black Ops Tribute event, which is still live until May 1.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Reveals 3 New Multiplayer Maps Coming on May 1

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 sheds light on some new details related to the three new maps coming to the game as part of its next major update.

With Black Ops 6 ‘s Season 3 Reloaded just a few days away, Treyarch made a Call of Duty Blog post highlighting everything coming to the game as part of the new update. Part of the post focused on a new weapon and conversion kit that’ll be available as free rewards in the Seth Rogen High Art limited-time event. The weapon is a new SMG called the Ladra, while the conversion attachment is for the Goblin Mk2 assault rifle, which allows it to fire explosive mini-rockets.

Black Ops 6 Reveals Ladra SMG and Goblin Mini-Rocket Conversion Coming with Season 3 Reloaded

The post goes into more detail about the new Ladra SMG, letting players know that the gun’s low base damage may need to be compensated for with a larger capacity magazine, else players may struggle to finish off their opponents. Treyarch also recommends making use of Black Ops 6‘s Scavenger perk or an Assault Pack as a secondary measure for staying loaded up on ammo during a match. As for the Goblin Mk2’s Mini-Rocket conversion kit, Treyarch highlights that players will be able to take advantage of its splash damage. This makes the weapon a prime choice for players taking part in a capture point match like Domination or Hardpoint, as opponents are likely to be bunched together on objectives.

With two new maps, a new weapon and conversion kit, a new in-game event, and more, it seems like Season 3 Reloaded will bring enough to the table to keep Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 players satisfied until Season 4 rolls around. Barring any sort of delay, Black Ops 6‘s fourth season is currently expected to go live in about a month from now in late May, though Treyarch is likely to begin teasing new information sooner than that.
