Call of Duty Reveals Beavis & Butt-Head Event Pass for Black Ops 6 and Warzone

Activision has officially revealed the Beavis & Butt-Head Event Pass for the cartoon’s upcoming collaboration with Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone. Fans looking to get their hands on some limited-time Beavis & Butt-Head cosmetic items in both Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone will soon be able to partake in a new event that will see a plethora of different rewards added to the shooter, all of which are themed around the iconic cartoon characters.

The upcoming event will begin with Call of Duty‘s big Season 4 Reloaded update, which is set to release later today, July 2. Whether it’s Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 or Warzone, fans of both shooters will have plenty to check out with the mid-season refresh today. For Multiplayer fans, the iconic Fringe map from Black Ops 3 will be making a return, alongside another brand-new map known as Eclipse. As for Warzone players, Season 4 Reloaded will see the debut of Resurgence Casual, a new mode that features a mix of real-life players and bots, similar to Battle Royale Casual. In total, the mode will consist of 12 real players and 32 bots. Game progression in the mode is limited due to the number of bots, and results do not affect players’ stats.

Call of Duty’s latest multiplayer shift raises questions for Battlefield’s future, though one leaked feature can help it fire back.

Call of Duty’s upcoming collaboration with Beavis & Butt-Head won’t just see new bundles in the in-game store, as Activision has now revealed a full Event Pass for the crossover. Like previous Event Passes, fans will have the choice to complete the free version, which includes two new weapons, two Beavis & Butt-Head-themed operator skins, a 1-hour Double XP token, and more. However, there will also be a premium version available to purchase for 1,100 COD Points. This paid version of the pass not only includes the Beavis & Butt-Head operators but also a new finishing move, emote, three weapon blueprints, and much more.

Call of Duty’s Beavis & Butt-Head Event Pass Has Been Revealed

While Beavis & Butt-Head fans will likely be eager to get their hands on the new Event Pass and various other cosmetic items, Call of Duty players have already made it clear that they aren’t happy with Black Ops 6‘s new Season 4 Reloaded skins. Die-hard fans of the Call of Duty series are growing tired of the unrealistic operator skins and cosmetic items, as many want to see the franchise take a more realistic approach to its store bundles. In response to the new Beavis & Butt-Head collaboration, fans said the skins “look bad” and even described them as “literal eyesores.”

Fans also likely won’t be happy about another premium Event Pass making its way into Call of Duty. Previous collaborations with the likes of Netflix’s Squid Game and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have sparked controversy among the community for introducing yet another paid Battle Pass into Black Ops 6 and Warzone. Players already have a free, premium, and BlackCell version of the seasonal Battle Pass to work their way through every couple of months, and many think adding even more microtransactions on top is “greedy.”
