Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and its free-to-play counterpart, Call of Duty: Warzone, have both received minor updates for February 26. The latest update for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone is available now on all supported platforms, bringing a whole host of bug fixes, improvements, and some critical Ranked Play changes to Treyarch Studios’ latest shooter.
The newest Call of Duty update comes just one week after the launch of Season 2 Reloaded, which once again brought plenty of new content to Black Ops 6. Multiplayer fans were treated to two new maps, weapons, modes, and a highly anticipated collaboration with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The crossover brought four new bundles to the in-game store, with each one including an iconic Ninja Turtle. Fans also still have a new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Event Pass to jump into from February 27, which will allow players to unlock even more cosmetic items and weapons.

Call of Duty Admits It’s Using AI-Generated Assets
Activision finally responds to allegations with a subtle admission of its use of artificial intelligence, and fans are not happy.
Although it isn’t quite as lucrative as Call of Duty‘s big Season 2 Reloaded patch, the latest update is now live for Black Ops 6 and Warzone. According to the official patch notes, which can be found further down this article, the February 26 update makes numerous bug fixes for Warzone. After downloading the new update, players should no longer have issues with editing custom loadouts while in a match, opening the tac-map during the infil cinematic, being kicked from a match for opening the social menu, and more.
As for Black Ops 6, there are also numerous bug fixes included in the update, as well as an essential adjustment to the game’s Ranked Play mode. Developer Treyarch Studios is regularly making changes to Black Ops 6‘s Ranked Play, as the competitive game mode often requires certain weapons or pieces of equipment to be removed or re-added. According to the official change log, Treyarch Studios has now unrestricted the recoil springs fire mod on the Jackal PDW, which is a popular submachine gun that is considered to be one of the current meta weapons in both Black Ops 6.
Many other changes have also been made to both Multiplayer and Zombies, but fans looking for new content will have to wait for Call of Duty‘s big Season 3 update, which is expected to be released sometime in March. Official details on the update have yet to be revealed, but there have been a plethora of different leaks in recent weeks. With Season 2 being a somewhat lackluster update for Warzone players, Activision is supposedly aiming to make Season 3 the best it can possibly be. New leaks suggest that fans can expect to see some iconic Modern Warfare operators and weapons return, as well as the highly anticipated return of Verdansk, the game’s very first Battle Royale map.
