Call of Duty Mobile Season 2 is now live and many players have already jumped into the action. So here’s everything new in CoD Mobile Season 2, including weapons, maps, Operator skins, and more.
To celebrate the Year of the Dragon, CoD Mobile has released a Dragon-themed season that not only comes with brand new weapons such as the Type 19 AR but also features a reskin of the classic map, a new floating platform, and more.
Just like the last season, Season 2 Battle Pass rewards are similar to Season 4 2022 but the developers have tweaked a few things so you always have something new in your hands to try.
So here’s a quick rundown of CoD Mobile Season 2 2024.
CoD Mobile Season 2 release date
CoD Mobile Season 2 arrived on February 7, 2024, at 4 PM PT / 7 PM ET / 11 PM GMT, or February 8, 2024, at 12:00 AM UTC / 5:30 AM IST.
The new season is titled ‘Lunar Dragon’ and celebrates the Year of the Dragon and Lunar New Year with themed skins, maps, rewards, and more.
CoD Mobile Season 2 new weapon & melee
ActivisionYou can get the Type 19 AR through the free Battle Pass.
Type 19 and Spear are the two brand-new weapons introduced in CoD Mobile Season 2. The Type 19 is an Assault Rifle with a magazine size of 30 rounds which can be increased to 72 via attachments and has a reload time of 1.65 seconds.
ActivisionYou can equip Spear as a secondary weapon.
Spear is a new Melee and is described as a weapon that was “favored by many warriors throughout history”. It also features a Mythical Skin which can be obtained from the Battle Pass.
CoD Mobile Season 2 Nuk3town reskin
ActivisionNuketown is a classic Call of Duty map.
Continuing the Lunar Dragon theme, the classic Multiplayer map, Nuketown gets a reskin. This all-new version is dedicated to Dragon, the Chinese Zodiac sign, and features futuristic versions of all the elements found in the original map.
The Battle Royale mode also features a Lunar Dragon-themed floating platform with new minigames and firecrackers that you can set off before the game starts.
CoD Mobile Season 2 Battle Pass and Operator skins
The Call of Duty Mobile Season 2 Battle Pass features content from Season 4 2022 Battle Pass. Its free tier has rewards such as the new Type 19 AR, Jet Boost Battle Royale Class, AGR 556 Lantern Light skin, and the usual slate of Camos, Weapon Blueprints, and more.
The Premium version features Operator skins for Isabella, Battery, David Mason, and Tiangu and Blueprints for Type 19, Man-O-War, OTs 9, HS0405, and UL736.
