John Wick fans can look forward to a special collaboration between Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and the Ana de Armas-led From the World of John Wick: Ballerina movie. Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is about to enter its fourth season, and the game has garnered a lot of attention over the past few weeks for its recent 4/20-infused collaboration with famous Hollywood actor Seth Rogen.

The John Wick film series has arguably become one of the most popular new action movie franchises of the past decade, with superstar Keanu Reeves at the helm and four mainline films having been released since 2014. The world of John Wick has continued to expand beyond the four core films, as the Peacock spin-off series The Continental was released in 2023, and a new spin-off film called From the World of John Wick: Ballerina is set to hit the big screen on June 6. It’s considered one of the biggest blockbuster movies of summer, next to the likes of Jurassic World Rebirth and Marvel’s The Fantastic Four: First Steps.

While the latest installment does not make a direct reference to the upcoming spin-off, some of the film’s events shed light on what can be expected.

The hype for Ballerina is entering the gaming world, as Call of Duty has announced a crossover with the new film. A Twitter post reveals that Ana de Armas’ Eve Macarro will become a playable operator in Black Ops 6 as part of Season 4, which is set to launch on May 29. Included in the post is an in-game image of Ana de Armas’ Ballerina character draped in the sparkling red dress she’s seen wearing in the film’s trailers. Information regarding the exact release day of the bundle and the contents included remains a mystery.

Call of Duty Reveals Crossover With John Wick Ballerina Film

Some Black Ops 6 fans under Call of Duty‘s post voiced their disappointment that the Baba Yaga himself, John Wick, isn’t also being added to the game, despite him showing face in Ballerina‘s trailers. It’s not unheard of for these Call of Duty movie crossovers to bring in multiple characters from a film, as last year’s Dune: Part Two collab saw Paul Atreides and Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen both make it into Modern Warfare 3. If anything, Wick’s omission from Black Ops 6 may indicate that he has a much smaller role in the Ballerina film. Considering these Call of Duty crossovers typically serve as promotions for the show or TV series they’re tied to, it makes more sense for de Armas’ Ballerina to be the star of the show for this specific collab.

Fans can expect to learn more about the contents of Call of Duty‘s Ballerina bundle sometime between when Season 4 of Black Ops 6 begins on May 29 and when the film releases on June 6. As per past collab bundles, they usually don’t become available on day one of the new season but are instead drip-fed throughout the weeks and months, so fans shouldn’t expect the Ballerina bundle to be available right when Season 4 starts.
