Call of Duty Season 4 Trailer Teases Returning Weapons

While the new outro cinematic for Call of Duty Season 3 had a heavy focus on Stitch making his return, some eagle-eyed viewers noticed that the short trailer seemingly confirms the return of two iconic weapons: the LC10 Submachine Gun and the FFAR Assault Rifle. The former of the two weapons has only been seen in Black Ops Cold War, while the FFAR has had multiple iterations over the years. It first made its debut as the FAMAS in 2009’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and has reappeared as the FFAR in titles such as Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, and more.

Further details on the upcoming season are still scarce, but fans can likely expect to find numerous new Multiplayer maps, game modes, operator skins, and more to check out. Traditionally, developers Treyarch Studios and Raven Software also have numerous events planned throughout the course of a new season. Season 3 brought two weed-themed events to the game, sparking controversy among the community for its repetitiveness. For unknown reasons, Call of Duty recently extended its High Art event for an additional week, giving fans even more time to level up the controversial Event Pass.

Fans are also hoping to see a decent number of bug fixes in the upcoming update, as Season 3 Reloaded received backlash from the community for the sudden increase in cheaters and bugs in the shooter. One player even recently encountered a strange bug that put a Zombie into the Warzone gulag. It’s unclear how the bug occurred, but this is just one of the many issues that seems to have been introduced with the game’s mid-season update earlier this month.
