Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 3 Roadmap Revealed

Activision has revealed the full Season 3 roadmap for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, confirming which new maps, modes, weapons, and more will be joining Treyarch Studios’ latest shooter with its upcoming season. The highly anticipated Season 3 update for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is now just days away, with players being able to jump into all of the new content from Wednesday, April 2.

Yesterday, an extensive blog post broke down all of the new features and gameplay changes coming to Call of Duty: Warzone with Season 3. While Black Ops 6 players will be able to jump into the new season from April 2, the return of Verdansk means Warzone‘s servers will be offline for a total of 24 hours between April 2 and April 3, resulting in some lengthy downtime for players. The good news is that once servers are back online, players will be able to jump back into Verdansk, which has been rebuilt from the ground up with stunning new visuals, after an almost three and a half year absence.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Reveals Full Roadmap for Season 3

After Call of Duty Season 3 faced an unexpected delay earlier this month, Activision has now pulled back the curtain and revealed all of the new content coming to Black Ops 6 with Season 3 on April 2. As seen in the official roadmap below, players will have three new multiplayer maps to jump into at launch, including a remastered version of Black Ops‘ iconic Firing Range. As for the remaining two maps, Barrage is a brand-new 6v6 map set in 1968 Vietnam surrounding one Summit Watch at the front lines of the battle. Then there’s Nomad, which is a small-sized 6v6 and 2v2 map set in the ruins of a fortified settlement in Afghanistan. Two more maps, as well as a new Nuketown variant, will be arriving as part of the game’s mid-season update.

black ops 6 roadmap season 3

Rumors and leaks regarding new weapons for Season 3 of Call of Duty have now proven true, as some iconic guns from 2019’s Modern Warfare reboot have been confirmed for the upcoming season. The CR-56 AMAX Assault Rifle and the HDR Sniper Rifle will be included in the Season 3 Battle Pass, while the Kilo 141 Assault Rifle will be granted to players who log in to Call of Duty: Warzone during its 24-hour downtime on April 2. The Ladra SMG, Nail Gun, and Kali Sticks will all be available as part of an in-season event. Fans can also get their hands on the Grau 5.56, but in the form of a conversion kit for the Swat 5.56. The kit will also be available in the Season 3 Battle Pass alongside the Monolithic Suppressor.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 players will also be able to jump into two new modes with the launch of Season 3: Sharpshooter and Demolition. Fans of the series will be highly familiar with these two modes, but for those who aren’t, Sharpshooter is a free-for-all party mode where every player is assigned the same loadout, which changes every 45 seconds. As for Demolition, players must alternate between attacking and defending two bomb sites.

There’s plenty more in store for fans, including a brand new Zombies map for Black Ops 6 Season 3, new perks, the return of the Death Machine scorestreak, and plenty of bundles for players to check out. Whether it’s Multiplayer, Zombies, or Warzone, the newest season is shaping up to be a massive moment for the two titles.
