Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Reveals April 17 Playlist Update

Treyarch Studios has also confirmed that a new playlist update will launch alongside the event. The update will include 10v10 Search and Destroy, 6v6 Gunfight, and Demolition. For Zombies fans, Team Cranked will also be released in the upcoming playlist update, along with a double Gobblegum earn rate. While the studio has confirmed a 2x earn rate for Gobblegums in Black Ops 6 Zombies, it doesn’t look like a full double XP event is scheduled to kick off at the same time. The last double XP event only came to an end on April 8, but players are already looking forward to the next one.

Treyarch Studios also recently deployed a new hotfix update for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. The April 16 update closed an exploit on the map Dealership, which allowed players to access an unintended location in the Commissary. The studio also made a change in Black Ops 6 Zombies, fixing an issue causing players’ Gobblegums to disappear after returning to a saved game. Various Gobblegum exploits were also closed by Treyarch, but the studio didn’t specify which exploits it had removed in the patch notes.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is barely halfway through its life cycle, but new leaks and rumors are already giving fans an insight into a potential Black Ops 7. According to an individual who claims to have been in a study group for the new Call of Duty title, the next entry in the series is supposedly set in the year 2035 and will focus on the iconic Alex Mason, the protagonist of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. The leaker also claims that Black Ops 6‘s omnidirectional movement system will be making a return, with wall running also being added in.
