Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 players can now unlock a handful of new in-game items as developer Treyarch Studios brings back the popular daily login rewards. The last time daily login rewards were seen was in 2023’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, but now Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 players are able to get in on the action with double XP tokens, a calling card, weapon charm, and more up for grabs.
Both Black Ops 6 and Warzone are currently approaching the end of Season 2, with the game’s next season officially set for April 3. Call of Duty Season 3 was initially due to launch on March 20 but was delayed by an additional two weeks to give the developers more time to perfect the massive content update. After months of rumors and leaks, publisher Activision has now confirmed that the upcoming season will be a big one, primarily for Warzone players, as fans will finally get to drop back into Verdansk, the game’s first large-scale Battle Royale map. There will likely be a plethora of content for Black Ops 6 players to check out too, but details on Season 3 are still scarce.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Brings Back Daily Login Rewards
While fans wait patiently for Season 3 to begin, they can now get their hands on some new in-game items as Call of Duty finally brings back the popular daily login rewards feature. To unlock all of the rewards, players will need to log into the game on seven separate days before each reward expires. The first reward players can claim is a double XP token, followed by a spray, a double weapon XP token, a calling card, a double Battle Pass XP token, a sticker, and finally, a weapon charm. Players don’t need to complete any challenges or manually claim the rewards, as they will be automatically granted upon each log in to Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.
Unfortunately, Black Ops 6 players aren’t happy with what Treyarch Studios is offering as part of the daily login rewards. On Twitter, one user said they “can’t remember the last time I even put a sticker or charm on my gun” and that they would have much preferred a weapon camo or operator. A user on Reddit echoed a similar sentiment, saying that a weapon blueprint of camo is the only thing that would get them to log in each day. Another player sarcastically said, “That definitely is a huge incentive to log in daily.”
Fans might not be happy with the items on offer, but there are plenty of other opportunities for Black Ops 6 players to unlock in-game rewards. Since the game’s launch last year, Treyarch Studios has regularly held in-game events with plenty of cosmetic items and consumables up for grabs. While previous events have seen huge collaborations with the likes of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and The Terminator, the latest event, known as Clover Craze, celebrates St. Patrick’s Day by giving away even more rewards. Players simply need to collect clovers by eliminating enemies or Zombies and they will then be able to unlock new emblems, calling cards, and even a new weapon blueprint for the AMES 85.
