Summary

  • Activision hosting free trial for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.
  • The free trial is available between April 7 and April 11.
  • Twenty-five multiplayer maps, ten modes, and all five Zombies maps are included in the free trial.

Activision is once again allowing first-person shooter fans to try Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 for free between April 7 and 11. The latest free trial for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 comes just days after the previous one ended, this time with a plethora of Season 3 content available for fans to check out. Unfortunately, the free trial period does not grant access to the campaign but does include limited access to Multiplayer and Zombies.

While most Call of Duty fans have been obsessing over Verdansk’s return to Warzone with the launch of Season 3, there’s still plenty of new content to check out in Black Ops 6. The latest season kicked off on April 2 with a brand-new Battle Pass, new multiplayer maps, modes, weapons, and much more. Die-hard fans of the Black Ops series were ecstatic to see the return of Firing Range with Season 3, as well as two other newly designed maps with more still to come in the mid-season update. Season 3 also marked the return of some iconic Modern Warfare weapons, including the Kilo 141, CR-56 AMAX, HDR, and the Grau 5.56.

Call of Duty Reveals New Free Trial for Black Ops 6

For fans of the first-person shooter genre who are yet to jump into Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 3, now is the perfect time. On April 7, Activision kicked off another free trial for its latest Call of Duty title, allowing everybody to play twenty-five different multiplayer maps, including the newly released Firing Range, Barrage, and Nomad, along with 10 different modes. For Zombies fans, all of the mode’s maps are included in the free trial, which includes Liberty Falls, Terminus, The Tomb, Citadelle Des Morts, and Shattered Veil. The free trial is available now and will remain live until Friday, April 11, at 10 AM PT.

The reveal of another free trial comes just days after Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 went free-to-play with the launch of Season 3. Unfortunately, the free access period was only for 24 hours due to the lengthy server downtime for Call of Duty: Warzone. While Black Ops 6 fans were able to jump into all of the new Season 3 content on April 2, Warzone fans were left waiting until April 3 as the game’s servers were taken offline for 24 hours in preparation for Verdansk’s return. However, during the game’s downtime, Activision made Black Ops 6 free to play to keep fellow Warzone fans occupied.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 also has a double XP event that will end today, April 8. The event was extended with the launch of Season 3, allowing players to earn double-level XP and double-weapon XP. With only a few hours of the double XP event left to go, those looking to make the most of the latest free trial period will want to jump in before the event comes to an end. As long as the full game is purchased on the same account, progress made during the Black Ops 6 free trial will also carry forward to the full game.
