Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Player Can Unlock New Free Rewards, But There’s a Catch

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 players have the chance to unlock free in-game rewards, including up to eight hours of double XP tokens, by watching the upcoming Call of Duty League: Major 2 tournament between Thursday, March 20 and Sunday, March 23. The upcoming event will include a plethora of viewership rewards for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 players to collect, with longer watch time equating to even more in-game rewards.

The Call of Duty League is an opportunity to see the best Black Ops 6 players in the world battle it out in four double-elimination Majors in a hybrid LAN/online format. Fans are currently gearing up for the Major 2 Qualifiers, which will take place between Friday, March 14 and Sunday, March 16. Some of Call of Duty‘s most iconic esports teams, such as Toronto Ultra, Optic Texas, Los Angeles Thieves, and many more will go head to head to earn a spot in the Call of Duty League: Major 2 tournament, which will take place less than a week after the qualifiers.

Getting a hold of double XP tokens in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone can be a tedious task, but players can now nab themselves up to eight hours of tokens thanks to the upcoming Major 2 tournament. According to the official Call of Duty League website, players can earn a plethora of viewership rewards, including double XP tokens, emblems, calling cards, and the exclusive Dimensions Weapon Blueprint for the Jackal PDW submachine gun. To unlock these rewards, players must watch the tournament for a set period of time, and their Activision and YouTube accounts must also be linked. The longer fans watch the event, the more rewards they will earn.

Call of Duty League: How to Get Free Double XP Tokens and More

  • Sign in to your Activision account and ensure either a Battle.net, PSN, Xbox, or Steam account is linked.
  • Link your Activision account with your YouTube account via your account settings.
  • Watch Call of Duty League Major 2 between Thursday, March 20 and Sunday, March 23 to unlock in-game rewards.

Call of Duty fans still have time to unlock even more rewards via Black Ops 6‘s ongoing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles event. After kicking off on February 27, the event will finally be coming to an end on March 13, which means players have just two more days to level up the in-game event pass and unlock some new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle-themed rewards, including new melee weapons, operator skins, and more. While a free version of the event pass is available, fans can upgrade to the premium track for 1,100 COD Points to unlock even more rewards.

For those who might have missed out on Black Ops 6‘s controversial in-game event, fear not. From March 13 until April 3, Call of Duty will launch yet another event: Clover Craze. According to Activision, players will need to eliminate enemies in either Multiplayer or Zombies, or open caches in Warzone to acquire different types of clovers. These clovers can then be exchanged for in-game rewards, such as the AMES AR Weapon Blueprint.
